Ive always been nervous on this part, but when we get to the window, guess what, It only took us 2 minutes. then we are done.
I was with my Petitioner and his Mom. (Yes. Full support it was. haha). Consular asked us 2 or 3 questions, and I remember, I had to ask My Fiance to answer one question. lol. And the Consular didnt care at all. It went all smooth, I think because of all the documents weve submitted. we made it sure it wasn't too much, or too less.

We filed Direct Consular Filing in Manila (I've lived in Phil for the past two years) and the entire process was just under 2 months!! We arrived before 6am for a 6:40am appointment slot. We were completely done and out of there before 8:30AM.
The process was very efficient and we quickly learned that if you are not entirely sure what you are doing, ASK!! They are more than willing to help and if you are doing something wrong you can waste a great deal of time. The first interview was a little tough because they questioned why my wife waited so long to register her daughter birth. In fact, both interviewers questioned her about this. Another item really scared us was that we were missing a form.... The first man told us we would have to complete it and send it to them later......ugh. The interview did have it's funny moments because my wife got really nervous and messed up all of our dates, like when we met, when we got married, you know, little stuff like that. I didn't... read complete review

Finally! I really wanted to make a review on how smooth the interview experienced i had this morning.
Scheduled today May 9, 2017 for my interview. Arrived at 430AM i was on the first queue for 7:10AM i know this is so early but I really wanted to go early. Then at 6AM they let people line up and started to let them in.
6:30AM already checking for my documents, DS160 and passport and they put my passport in a plastic. Then they gave me a yellow laminated paper. The girl instructed me to go inside and for the checking of my bag. I remembered maybe two checking of bags before entering the main waiting area. Then waited at the immigrant area for I guess 15 minutes. Then they let us in and my barcode number is something in letter A. so i was first on that area. Then lined up for the Pre-Screening interview (Filipina) She asked me to drop my DS160,Passport, PSA birtcertificate and cenomar, and NBI and she asked too about my receipt from BPI. Then she started to aske... read complete review

At USEM interview on 16 Nov. No HK police clearance. Provided USEM interviewer emails from HK police stating date mailed and postal tracking number. Interviewer stated it takes 4-6 weeks before they'll receive it. We have been approved, however they still require the HK police clearance to make our package complete. Our status was Administrative Processing and we are not required to return to the USEM. Fiancée and daughter left their passports so visas can be affixed. notified. The actual interview was very relaxed and civil. That really helped. We saw/heard other interviews around us that made us cringe. I believe it really helped my fiancée that I was able to fly back to be with her for the interview. It calmed her and the interviewer struck up a brief conversation.
28 Nov status changed to Ready.
1 Dec status changed to Issued.
8 Dec, picking up passports/visas.
9 Dec, CFO process.
13 Dec Arr... read complete review
