My husband's interview did not last more than 5 minutes. He was asked the following questions: who filed the petition (he responded with my name), who my mother is (because she is a joint sponsor), and how we met. Then the officer looked through a few pictures, asked what my husband plans to do in America, and asked if I was waiting outside to hear the good news. Then he heard the magic words, "Welcome to the United States."
The CO interviewing my husband was very polite and personable. My husband had a great experience during his interview. As long as you have all your paperwork together, organized, and you are honest, you shouldn't have any problems.

My husband's interview was scheduled for 8:30am. To beat the traffic, he left early and arrived at the embassy at about 7:30am. After waiting for about an hour, a queue was formed for security checks and he was let in. After entering and waiting for about an hour, he was called up by a white lady to submit his documents. Except for our original documents and a photo album, we did not introduced any new information. He had copies of all the documents I submitted during the whole process but these were not taken from him as the lady said they already have those. She only took the original documents and the photo album which I was grateful for as I was one of the people that didn't frontload for lack of knowledge. I realized my mistake after I joined VJ and so added my documents during the NVC stage. His fingerprints were taken and was asked to go have a sit. After waiting for about 3 and half hours, he was called up to another window for his interview. The interview was conducted by a mi... read complete review
