As more reviews here state - embassy takes time to give you any notice - my reccomendation is to wait approximatelly 2 weeks after notice that your petition left NVC and call embassy 257 022 415 with the info that they probably have already got your i-129f petition. They will ask about your email adress and email you P3, which is just one piece of paper with simple instructions (see bellow). Next day I would reccomend calling them again saying that you have everything ready and you'd like to schedule your interview (for US embassy in Prague they schedule interviews over the phone). Make sure you leave at least a week between medical and interview. At the medical, they were able to schedule soon after I called (call to 224 220 040).The day of the interview - I had it scheduled on 1:30 pm, you need to let your all electonical devices at the entrance, then proceed upstairs, get a number like at the post office, then you they will call you to handle all the required documents, then paying ... read complete review

The longest part on the conculate was just the waiting. I was there for around 2 hours but the interview lasted for about 5 minutes (take a book! no electronics inside, so my ebook reader was useless lol). Everyone was very friendly and nice. I guess it was also because we had no issue with our petition and the conculate told me at the beginning that it would be really quick as we have everything in order.

At the interview, the consulate guy was very pleasant and ask few questions (How did you meet, Have you ever been in US, couple of question about military past about my fiancé), that was about it. He told me they were more than happy to give me the visa. Told me to pick up the visa in a week and that they will call me.

My experience was very good. Everyone at the embassy was really nice.

Prior the interview
Since some people told me I may not get instructions from the embassy even though they have the case, I proactively called them after I saw they received our case. I said that I saw they got our case and asked if they could email me the instructions. I had a list but wanted to double check and have the official and current one from them as well. At the embassy they told me to call to schedule interview once I have all the documents ready and medical done. At the medical they were surprised and said that people usually have an interview date first and based on that they get a date for their medical. I guess the embassy is not that busy at this time of year (November/December) but I'd say just do what they tell you at the embassy.

Medical
I wish there was a review section for the medical place as well since I was surprised that they didn't proceed as I r... read complete review

I think the worst part about the Embassy process is the first one, when you just wait and wait and wait, thinking you'll get some sort of mail from them (Packet 3) and that never happens. You probably won't even get any email. I would recommand to not be scared and give it maybe two weeks since it has left the NVC and try to call them on 257 022 415. Say they probably have your i-129f petition and if that's so, how should you proceed now. They will ask for you email address and email you the P3, which is just one piece of paper with simple instructions (will list them bellow). Or even better, get everything ready beforehand and call in saying that you have everything ready and you'd like to schedule your interview (you will be doing it over the phone unless like other embassies where you can do it online). Make sure you leave at least a week between medical and interview. At the medical, they were able to schedule me two days after I called, so that could be helpful too (call to 224 22... read complete review
