I'm Venezuelan but all the cases from Venezuela were transferred to the Embassy in Bogota, Colombia. My interview it was schedule initially for April, 30 2019 but I left Venezuela as soon as I could because the situation and when I got to Bogota I asked for emergency appointment and I was approved right away so they gave the new day I asked. I had my interview on April, 05 2019. I got very early to the embassy around 6:40 am and I could go in that early. It was very nice inside. You can go earlier than the time you have your interview so you can come in because is K1 visa. We don't need wait like the others for tourism visa. The first control it was with a Colombian girl who asked me for all the papers listed in the Packet 3/4 ( birth certificate, divorce, criminal records, photos with full name behind, affidavit etc, etc) she put that all together inside my passport and my boys's passport too. Then we went through the security control. You must take off your jacket, leave your folders,... read complete review

Review Topic: Medical Appointment

I did the laboratory exams on Apr 25th (no appointment needed) I got there at 6:20 and was second in line, the process was very fast.

Doctor appointment Apr 26th,
my appointment was at 1:55pm but I actually saw the doctor at 4:20 in total I spent 6 hours there and they gave me the results the same day, I had to take 3 vaccines shots. Auch!
It is very organized but very slow you wait more than actually being checked.

I had my interview at may 3rd.
My interview was scheduled for 7am, and i got there at 6:20, at 6:40 they started calling people with appointments from 7 to 7:30.
I was in line no.1 for inmigrant visa and k1, and someone asked me for mine and my petitioner original birth certificate, my passport, police certificate and photos.

I went in and two ladies asked for the same documents again and instructed me to go to the window where someone checked all this documents and asked for my original marriage certificate and medical exams envelope and also asked who was petitioning me.
After that the lady in the window instructed me to go back to the 2 ladys in the table who gave me a card with a turn number, and instructed me to go sit and wait where the interview will be held.
At 8am they started interviewing, I was fourth in line.
About 8:05 I got called.

The interview started with the consul asking me if it was ok to have the int... read complete review

We arrived for interview but the embassy systems were down. We waited went through 2 separate people to check our documents. They asked for the petitioners original birth certificate 3 times but we only had a copy. Once we got to the interviewer he didn't say anything about the petitioners birth certificate. We also thought we had a notarized original of my fiances notarized birth certificate but it was a colored copy of the original. After the interview he told us all looked good and to bring the birth certificate back. Ten minutes after we left we were called to come back to the embassy because our file had a glitch in the system and our file was frozen. The interview was very apologetic and asked us to go get the original birth certificate notarized copy and return so my fiance could give an oath for the file that all information was correct and true and give us the final verbal approval. We got the birth certificate and returned and he gave his oath and the interviewer told h... read complete review
