The consul was very friendly and nice. The interview lasted less than 5 minutes.

It was a great experience! I still had to get my birth certificate but they allowed me to go get it and come back at the same day. And because of that I got my visa on time!

Arrived 30 minutes before interview. Did not need to wait in line, went right up second floor. Do remember that no phone or other electronic devices are allowed. On the second floor there was an agent organizing all the K1 applicants into the same room by the order people arrived. This agent did an overview of the paperwork to make sure everything was there and then asked you to fill out a form with personal information. Gave the form back to the agent and waited to be called by the first agent who would call you up and then review the information in the documents (addresses, financial support, criminal report, etc.). This agent checked everything and kept they documents and asked me to wait for the interview. A few minutes later was called to the interview with a different agent, and he did the swear-in. He then asked a few questions (how we met, where my fiancé lived, etc.) He then said that I was approved and would get my visa in two weeks.
