I accompanied my wife (beneficiary) to the interview. We arrived around 6:50 for a 7:20 appointment. There are two lines outside the consulate - one for immigrant and one for non-immigrant visas. Around 7am they let the immigrant visa applicants inside and started reviewing our documentation. I was able to enter with my wife for the interview. The interview itself was quick, hardly felt like more than 5 minutes. Interview was screduled for 7:20 am. I got there with my husband by 6:40 am. At 7:00 am they let me in and started to check all the docs that were in the check list, they also requested my old passport to cancel my B2 visa. The consul did the interview, all the questions were in portuguese and directed to me (beneficiary):
When did you get married?
Where did you meet your husband?
How long did you guys get married after meet each other?
The whole interview took like 2 minutes and she said my visa was approved =)
