The interview was really good! When I get at the consulate I go to the first floor where was the fiances interviews,at the first we are direct to a guy in a table and he gave us a list with the order of the documents and another paper where we write down some informations about us,our fiancee and where we are at Rio,after that we are direct to a line of chairs and wait to be called one by one and give all the documents on the list to the person who is in the cabin,the woman who called me check all my documents and make me few questions,as my complete name,where I live,if i was working,simple and few questions,after this she opened my exams and checked this and all my documents and said everything was ok and my documents was complete and said that I should sit down and wait for the Consul call my name for the interview,I think I was the number six in the line for the interview and when the Consul call me to the cabin he was he said good morning and that we will start with a oath and tak... read complete review

Interview was quick and simple, officer wanted to know basically when, where and how we met and how many times we visited each other and where I was gonna live.

We had a very positive experience in our interview on January 28th.
The Rio de Janeiro Embassy is very organized and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We arrived at the embassy around 6:30 am as our appointment was scheduled to 7 am. A very friendly lady came outside the embassy where we were staying in line to check if we had an appointment. After checking it with everyone in the line she asked everybody to follow her. We went to a room and the same lady gave me two papers with instructions of what they need from me and my fiance, the other paper was personal information. We organized the documents, filled the information they wanted and the lady helped us to double-check the documents to see if everything was ok. She asked us to sit down again and wait until they call my name. They called my name and we went to the last window, where they check some information on the DS-160.
