My husband had his interview in Algiers on Easter Sunday, and everything went very smoothly. He said everyone was very kind and professional. They asked him 10-15ish questions that were in line with most of the sample questions you'll find floating around here on VJ. At the end of the interview, she said they have everything they need and she will be approving the visa. A few hours after the interview, on the CEAC visa tracker page, the visa was listed under 'Administrative Processing' and today it's been updated to 'Issued' & and printed! It updated very quicky.

It was a good experience in general, I was able to get an interview appointment pretty quickly.
At the day of the interview, the consular officer was very nice and professional and the interview went smooth and quick.
The only inconvenience is that the consular officer told me I'd get my passport back with the visa in 5 days which was not the case.
I had to contact them multiple times bc I had already booked my flight to the US and I ended up canceling it. Their response was the same " you have to wait ". I finally got my passport with the visa on it 28 days after.

My wife had a great experience at Algiers Embassy. the stuff were so friendly and professional at the same time, you just need to be very well prepared ahead of time.
she got a basic question about our relationships nothing out of frame.
Again, Very pleasant experience.
