  1. Im going crazy I called the person who is in charge of my paper work and she said there was no visas avaliable for me!! Im F2A And My PD is 02/18/2008 For Mexico it shows thats upto date with august . Is that possible to pass ur PD and not get anything done?:crying::(

call national visa center and tell them about your case. Because you should have your schedule interview already, otherwise what's the purpose of priority date.

Its not the case of no visa availability coz , once it becomes current visa are assigned to your case. So much so just call them again .

  2. IMG!.. HOW torturing it is to wait! I can't imagine how you people (with current PD) managed to go through these years. Our PD is Oct, 2010. Hope in one year we'll be current too..

too much expectation can hurt you day after day.... just stay a float. Go on with your life i mean its still a long journey for you . Im not discouraging you just being realistic, thou miracles do happen just pray and have FAITH!!! :thumbs

  4. quick question i have about my interview.

THE interview is on the 30 OF THE AUGUST. Which may come on the EID HOLIDAY. I looked at the embassy website and it says that they are closed on the 31st of AUGUST. Does not mention the 30.

Does that mean it will be open on the 30? Should i call and reschedule? Who know when EID is going to be 30 or the 31. What should i do.? Should i call and tell them to move it to the 25? any help would be great.

no need to call for re-schedule they will not schedule you on a holiday,,,they had their own list of holiday so no worries my friend sit back relax enjoy your moment.

  5. The guy is just expressing his opinion and he is entitled as a vj member. If he is wrong let him learn from his mistakes. If he is right then let's learn from his views. That is what the forum is all about. Let's wait for the results of the PDs of the succeeding months. These make the discussions exciting.

sabi mo eh...no problem ..nag voice out lang DIN ako opinion ko .:)

    no worries kapatid

  6. now as far as i studied and read from different usa Departent and agencies revies ...i think now onwards the PD vl move slower and slower month after month...and my prediction for august 2011 is 3 month advancement means somewhere around June 2008 but mind u friends those who have filed for 2010 second half...it vl be very harsh for them....bcaz the total filing is too high in 2010 and only 2010 vl take around 2 years for 1 year PD advancement...so total waiting time for {second half}2010 and 2011 files will be around 4 to 5 years for sure..... :crying::crying:

    sorry but this is truth and we have to accept it....and pray to god that immigration law should be enacted asap.....sorry friends...but this is thruth {based on the number of petions being approved during 2011 and 2010}

hi there ..dude you know what better not to post bold prediction that just won't help others..got my point ..im not affected thou mine was filed 05/2009 ..the sole purpose of this page is to support each and everyone of us who filed petition for our love one's and not discourage or mislead ok.. hope you got my point

  7. *NOTE: For July, F2A numbers EXEMPT from per-country limit are available to applicants from all countries with priority dates earlier than 15FEB08. F2A numbers SUBJECT to per-country limit are available to applicants chargeable to all countries EXCEPT MEXICO with priority dates beginning 15FEB08 and earlier than 22MAR08. (All F2A numbers provided for MEXICO are exempt from the per-country limit; there are no F2A numbers for MEXICO subject to per-country limit.)

Dear all, pls explain what it means for EXEMPT from per-country limit and SUBJECT to per-country limit?? how do i know my country is has limit or not? thanks before.. :bonk:

hi there... you need not to bother about this , for as long as your priority date are current your good, each country has its quota for visa allocation and they refer to it:" subject per country limit " that says it all..

  8. i think the reason for USCIS/NVC to put the PD of f2a into normal pace is to give way to those who are being petitoned by USC..USC are always the priority..

have you ever thought..that if they made the f2a current it doen't make any difference to those k and cr1 filers?

i've seen a lot of people here waited 3 to 5 years to be reunited with their family (that includes me)..

my advice is don't expect too much...the lesser you expect the lesser you'll get hurt..

    just giving my unsolicited advice

    true enough...TAMA KA!!!

    Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). Unfortunately, this case no longer has a visa number available. This is because the applicant' visa category is oversubscribed, meaning that the available numerical limit of visas able to be issued was reached. Upon reaching the numerical limit of visas able to be issued, only beneficiaries who have a priority date earlier than listed in the current Visa Bulletin may be allotted a visa number in this visa category.

The priority date is the date when the petition was filed at a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) office or submitted to an Embassy or Consulate abroad. In employment immigration the priority date may be the date the labor certification application was received by the Department of Labor (DOL). You may call (202) 663-1541 or visit our website at www.ImmigrantVisas.State.Gov for priority dates currently being processed.

The beneficiary should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up his/her employment until he/she has actually received a visa from the US Embassy or Consulate General. When this case becomes eligible to begin processing again, any unexpired fees previously submitted to the National Visa Center will be applied to the case. The National Visa Center will notify you when further action is required.

Any fee payments made for this case when a visa number was available will be credited to the case once processing resumes.

The applicant's name has been placed on the list of documentarily qualified cases awaiting the availability of visa numbers under the numerical limitations prescribed by statute. The designated representative of this case (applicant, petitioner, or attorney) will be notified of an appointment date as soon as the numbers have been received. The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

An immigrant visa is usually valid for six months from the date it is issued. It may be used to apply for admission into the United States any time during its validity.

  11. THIS IS ANOTHER BAD NEWS FOR ALL F2A FROM AILA:

The Department of State's (DOS) January 2011 Visa Bulletin retrogressed the cut-off dates for a number of family-based categories (AILA Doc. No. 10120964). Immigrant visa applicants who have cut-off dates that retrogress on January 1, 2011, must complete their immigrant visa processing and have their immigrant visas issued on or before December 31, 2010. DOS cannot issue an immigrant visa as of January 1, 2011, unless the applicant meets the January Visa Bulletin's newly-established cut-off dates.

The DOS Visa Office (VO) allocates blocks of visa numbers to posts for their use each month. The allocations represent applicants who have been reported as documentarily qualified and eligible for an interview during that month, based on the newly-established cut-off dates. The allocated numbers are not reserved for applicants whose cases cannot be finalized and issued during the original month of allocation/interview. At the end of the month, posts are required to return any unused numbers to VO, which are reincorporated into the pool of visa numbers available for future allocation. Applicants are always subject to the cut-off date that applies to their visa category at the time when visa issuance could occur. Therefore, if the immigrant visa cannot be approved by the end of December, applicants will need to wait until the priority date is within their established cut-off date to receive their immigrant visas.

BOY, I AM STUNNED!! ANOTHER YEARS AND YEARS...GOD DOESN'T LISTEN TO US ANYMORE

BE PATIENT AND BE STRONG!!! DON'T BLAME GOD FOR ALL THIS UNFORSEEN SCENARIOS, AND WHAT IF YOU GOT

YOUR INTERVIEW AND VISA YOU'LL BE PRAISING GOD, CMMON DUDE...JUST PRAY !! BE STRONG AND HAVE FAITH!!!
