  1. Your pd is 3 Sep 2009.

case approved on 17 Aug 2010. (Took 11 months to get approval)

Therefore, you have 11 months rebate in your case.

Right now ur 23 years 3 months older, suppose your case will get current next month. You will be 23 years and 4 months older by then and if they deduct the time took in approval which is 11 months only.

Your age will become 22 years and 4 months after deduction which is 16 months over 21 age which is prescribed by law. Unfortunately, there is no chance to get an interview call for you and hence you wont get a greencard this time.

    Now, you have 2 possibilities:

    1. If u are a derivative beneficiary, then you have to wait till the fresh petition filed for you in F2b. In that case you will have to wait for 8-9 years after filing it.

    2. If you are beneficiary of this petition, then you will retain this priority date and you category will automatically converted into f2b and you have to wait to get ur pd current, again the wait is too long bcoz 2009 pd will take up to 6 years from now.

If 1st condition applies on you then tell ur one of a parent to apply for u asap, dnt lose a single second bcoz picture is clear that you wont get a greencard this time.

Well said and very clear, actually I waited 11 yrs before my f2b becomes current and have to remain single otherwise there's no chance of getting visa , now 2 days short with last vb for my family's F2A, hope next would be for all of us July and August

    household = 2

    2011 income requirement thru March 2012 = $18,387.00

Go and check the poverty limit guideline before finding a joint sponsor to be sure it should to be somewhere between 40k and above , you don't want to risk the possibility of being put into AP , and Ricardo is right you need to update all the police clearances , in my country Philippines they are so strict with the clearances names and birth of date should be accurate .

    yes you are right

  4. PD is Current...... ..

I think having the questions here from real (the now) scenarios will help the group. When their interviews come about they could be faced with similar issues.

Mr. Blue did a great job with addressing the questions. Zeezee has been on VJ for 5 months now and is probably still confused with how to post questions (new thread). We should use the members who recently had their interviews to our advantages by asking questions about interviews & learn any new trends.

All others please start a new thread if u have questions or you may send me a message with any questions you have.

    Enjoy,

    Ricardo.

Ricardo , tnx so much men! PD CURRENT is also on the right page might as well start a new thread if it is way off topic, while if this has something to do with interview feel free to ask question , it is to others advantage which they can use as reference . :)

  5. Thx for the info, they told me to submit it in the embassy where I had my interview with in 1 yr. The reason I got worried where they said something about that they are going to return our case back to USCIS where the case was filed.

dont worry about that just submit all the documents they need , you should be fine. For all you know they gonna ask you to pay the courier service charge and your good to go! don't waste any time .

  6. Hello ppl, hope all is well. I just have a question regarding my recent interview. I just had my interview on the 8th of this month but we were given the refusal worksheet and were told that submit the new affidavit support. I don't know why because the income is showing on the current affi. support is way more than what it says in the guideline. NO worries I can provide another one but the question I have is that on the refusal worksheet says...

"The petition is being returned for re-adjudication to the Citizenship and Immigration Service Center which approved it, with a recommendation for revocation. The embassy can take no further action on the case, and any further correspondence should be addressed to the CIS office where the petition was filed.

    New, qualified Joint Sponsor:

Your petitioner's and joint sponsor's income are not enough to sponsor you. Please send us an original signed affidavit support with all supporting documents from the most recent tax year. Please submit these items via our courier services." I am not sure where do I have to submit these papers?

I am so confused whats going on?? Did the embassy return the case back to CIS or do I have to submit the new affi. support to the embassy. They did tell me to submit papers to them. They have also kept our passports and gave us the token. please help...

Relax , all you have to do is find a joint sponsor that can cover the required bracket, however the petitioner and ur new joint sponsor should also submit their recent tax rcpt Call your local embassy number and check with them whee and when are you going to submit the paperworks.

It happen to me in Manila 3 yrs ago they refused to give me my visa to the condition that I have to resubmit an updated legal document . Pictures and it took me a week then I submit it straight to the embassy , a week later a got my visa delivered by designated courier service. So don't panic relax!!!! Make sure to call them don't hesitate and ask where to mail or submit the docs otherwise you'll end up waiting for nothing .

  9. Guys / Gals ... take a chill pill.. every couple of days I have updated this forum and also whenever I have received any update....

Till date no news and no email from nvc... even on phone operator told me visa still not available....

I will be updating this forum immediately within 5 minutes of receiving my interview email....

Nice to hear from u! Better yet , hopefully tomorrow is our day buddy :)

  10. Thanks. But my question is if they let you take skin test for TB before xray...

after the xray im good to go . they didn't find any problem i get the pink slip same day , they got my passport and result forwaded to US embassy for interview .Those problem usually cause delay . They wanna make sure why it came out positive, worst scenario you'll undergo medication for 3-6 months before taking another medical exam .A friend of mine daughter failed the skin test and find positive of "primary complex" she went into medication and issued a visa after 3 months i think . Then upon arrival to US they went straight to the hospital for anothr test ( upon arrival) . If you dont have any TB or whatever pulmonary problem no worries . Ok lang yan :) hope it helps stay positive it is more on like a case of a blurry xray, they ask for a retake ...

  11. Hi.is there Anyone here from the philippines that can help me explain what to expect during medical examinations?

Be there before 6 am , just follow procedures and should be done before noon, yung result I got it same day . That's the advantage of being there early. Be cautious with the interviewer they will ask you if you did try taking illegal drugs if you answer yes goodbye American dream , with the physical exam you have to undress urself maybe for 5 minutes they gonna conduct some physical check. No worries just relax and have fun :)

  12. Hi guys, hope everyone is well. My interview is set for next wed (Feb 8th) but I am little worried about my age. I crossed 21 in Oct of last yr, so currently my age is 21 yrs and 3 months. I hope they wont deny me and dont give me the visa. You think CSPA/CPSA will come into play.
