Are the results in? Here's hoping and praying for another happy reunion!
-
Yes, my husband was looking forward to a nap yesterday, but when I e-mailed him in the middle of the day, he said he couldn't sleep because he was anxiously awaiting the results of the match (there is no way for him to watch it so he kept checking online). Then, after they won, he couldn't nap because he was so happy. Go, Nigeria, Go. (okay, that's about as sporty as I get
).
Hehe. I 'get' to watch the highlights of each game when I come home from work. Actually its not bad--just 13 minutes of the best plays.

And Nigeria won again! 3 games in a row.
This was my husband this morning.

I've yet to see a lazy Nigerian man! Though my husband got pretty sick for the the first two months so that sort of stalled him a bit. Glad things are going wonderful for you. We're almost 6 months married now and its fantabulous.
Your husband can start Americanizing his resume and making contacts==so that when he gets his EAD he has a head start. That's what my hubby did--and by the time my husband got his EAD, he was able to start work the follwing Monday.

I was so busy that I didn't have time to clean. Gave my then fiance something to do his forst week in America. He's a very 'neat' guy.

The first one. Fellowship of the Ring.
Ok The second one. Twin Towers.
Well, there's only one more left. Return of the King. But I swear, I really thought it was the first one.

Well, I know another one is Lord of the Rings. Not sure what the other would be.

Hi. I need some clarification. We filed AOS for Sept 20th, but do not yet have the greencard. My spouse has been in the US 167 days for the year 2005--so we don't quite make the 180 mark for non-reseident aliens.
I want to file married jointly. My husband has some U.S. income, but not any overseas income to claim. Do we file nonresident but resident for tax purposes--with that separate letter that Gimy talks about in her post. Or is my husband considered resident for having AOD pending?
Thanks. Kia

Well, its a little sad to see all our posts gone. Who knows? They may return someday! Nigeria won again! Other than that, I hope everybody's case is moving along nicely and that all of us with our hubbies are having fun this weekend. And relaxing. Just had to see some sort of post in here.
