Hey how's everything. I have not been on this site in a while so I just saw that you had a baby. Congrats! I had a baby last year as well. They are a true blessing. I also noticed you guys have the same POE date as my husband and I. We just files the ROC recently too. Hope it is a quick and stress free process for you guys. Good luck and take care.

thanks. my husband paid 570 pesos which he says is like 15 dollars. the beneficiary just has to go to banco popular with the interview cita letter and passport and they will know what receipt to give. it's just going to be a sheet of paper. i think you can get it whenever you have the cita letter. suerte

thanks! i'm still in DR now and plan on waiting till he gets his visa until sunday because i have work on monday unfortunately. hopefully he will get it before then. i will try to post the consulate review tomorrow so you guys can have something to read before your interview.

Visa approved!!!! The consulate was open and the huelga did not affect it or that area for that matter, thank God!

So there's a huelga nacional July 11th? Of all days, they seriously had to choose the day of my interview...Hope this doesn't affect the US Embassy or I will not be a happy camper at all

Hope it goes a lot quicker for you. I was married in July but didn't have our marriage certificates till late september and with getting it translated couldn't file till Oct and they approved me after 6 months! Can't help but think I would have been done already had I filed sooner

Yes, I would definitely like to go if you guys have another. I've been pretty sick this past week with a cold and I think a few people at work got sick because of me too...oops. Perhaps it was best that I could not make it, lol.
