First the USCIS ignored my petition for 6 months and now the NVC has decided to ignore it as well. Man do I hate this process! No wonder so many ppl prefer to come here ilegally!

i'm waiting to get the ball rolling. i've been calling but the AVR says they still don't have an NVC case # for me. will call after work with the house phone to preserve my cell phone minutes.

Cool. What email address did you send the letter to? I got something back today and it says unless I have a service request I cannot email them. I guess I've been sending to the wrong address.

i'm still waiting for anyone at my senator's office to call back. they told me that if they don't call within the week to call back but i might just call again today. I called uscis yesterday and they are still with their sep 25th bull. the rep had the nerve to tell me to call back in a month eventhough i told her i've already waited 6 months. what a joke

Sorry for ranting. Could you let me know what you wrote in your email to VSC? These people are getting an email from me tonight and hopefully they will be able to at least put in a service request for me. Thanks!

I just got off the phone with them. What a waste of time that was. I'm so pissed. He said the same thing they've been saying for a month. VSC needs 17 more days before they can put in a service request for you (because they're up to Sep 25th). I've given them 30 days and they're still feeding me the same bullshit! I told him that I was told the same thing a month ago but...

I haven't because everytime i've called before to request an expedite they tell me that their system will not let them do so unless VSC has started processing petitions received by them on Oct 12th or later. I was just going to wait until the 14th to call but I guess I'll try today and I'll quote some of what was written to you (the response you posted earlier).

Todavia but now I'm trying to get my senator involved (my congressman never responded). I sent her a message through her website and she responded asking me to fax or mail the authorization letter and any other relevant documents. I faxed them over this morning so hopefully she received those and will inquire on my behalf.

Today it's been officially 6 months

i sure hope so. this waiting is getting old and everything about this process has disappointed me inmensely. i barely have any hope left...

lmbo....I wish!!!!! Not even my congressman has responded to the letters i sent via snail mail, fax and his website. I feel like my husband and I are cursed or something.

But on a good note, I'll be visiting him for semana santa. I can't wait! Sadly though, this will be my fourth trip since we started this process and all because these people won'...

Thanks. I've been prepared since mid november or beginning of december. I was really bored with the wait early on so I started to read the guides and gather paperwork. I think I'm only missing the letter from employer and of course, the most important thing...an approval!

Well, at least my husband is only a three and a half hour plane ride away...guess I'll be making another trip sometime soon...
