I would also advise to wait. I know some people have it delivered to the Domex office (anyone correct me if I'm wrong) @ either the capital or Santiago, which they say takes about 3 days. I don't know if it really does make it there that quickly but if you are anywhere near those two cities that might be a good option. Good luck.

That's good to hear. Me, I'm still waiting and waiting and waiting, lol. Pero nada, things will surely happen when they need to happen I suppose...
Take care and keep us posted...I'd love to hear any accounts regarding your husband's initial reactions to this country and his new life. I hope you guys are adjusting well

Hey there. I noticed you had posted a thread before about putting in a service request. I'm about to reach the 5 month mark and will be calling to put in a service request for my case but I don't really know what I'm supposed to tell them in order to get that done. Any advice? Do you remember what exactly you told them? Thanks in advance for any help.

Yeah, I was away for a while visiting my husband and as usual I come back a little bit depressed so I just stayed away from this website and the uscis website altogether because I've been trying to keep my mind off of this as much as possible. But with the 5 month mark fast approaching I need to start research on what my options are. I'll try to keep positive but it's getting harder...

141 days and counting...

Unfortunately not. I'm still waiting as patiently as I can but we've still got about a month left so I'm not terribly worried about not hearing a response yet. Once March hits I'll probably start going crazy. You are so lucky the worst is over for you and your husband. Congrats again!

Hey...I have some questions about the police certificate. Did it have your husband's birth date on it? Also, did it say "Ministerio Publico" at the top? And, what color was it? I just want to make sure my husband gets the correct document when the time comes. Thanks.

Hey. The visa I'm filing for different (mine is for a spouse while you are filing for a fiance) so the timeline for the process will be different. There are other people here who also filed for a K-1 visa who could give you a better idea. You should ask Aztec & Taino, she was approved recently and could probably better help you. I have her on my friends list.
