For clarity, nobody is "contacting you". You posted your story and questions in a public forum where people are responding to posts and discussion. We all have sympathy for your situation and are simply trying to be helpful in the best way we can. If that's too uncomfortable for you to deal with at this time, you are free to refrain from reading the responses or even logging in to Visa Journey.
You've been given excellent advice from several people with significant experience. What you do with it is entirely up to you.

Hah, funny. My wife sounds like your husband. She's not 'nonchalant' about it, she cares, but she leaves the entire process up to me. She says: "God will sort it." To which I respond with: "Huh, whats that? Sorry, I was reading 'Filling for a Visa Application for Dummies.'"

Just like in every other walk of life, some people have more money than they know what to do with, others make enough to live comfortably, still others just make the cut and some require the assistance of a sponsor. Love strikes everywhere whether one can afford it or not.

    Hi guys/gals,
Just got my text and email notification that NOA2 was approved! They said they mailed the notice today, the 17th. My NOA1 date was October 22nd. Less than 4 months, I got lucky. Now I have to figure out what to do with NVC since I sent USCIS my originals by mistake(duh!). Darnell and Loto both gave me some good advice, just wondering if anyone made that error as well. Good luck to everyone, this must be a good sign for Oct/Nov filers. God bless.

Hi guys, I'm just a visiting August filer (one of the CSC to TSC and back to CSC victims), and I felt like saying something. I know some people are very bitter from having waited so long and are taking it out on you guys a little bit. I understand the bitterness and frustration (I'm extremely upset myself, and I haven't been waiting as long as others, nor is my situation as dire as others' situations), but I also know that it's in no way your fault. I remember feeling incredibly impatient even a couple of months into the process – even though it's estimated to take five months, it's only natural to hope it will be quicker than that, and it hurts to be belittled by others who have been waiting longer, as if your own pain doesn't matter.
That said, it is only fair for us transfers (who were at CSC to begin with and should have already been adjudicated) to be processed first, and I know you guys know that. Honestly though, I don't think it should have too big of an impact on you. CSC is very efficient (in relative terms... we are talking about a government agency here), and they've promised to clear us out by March 1. I think almost all of you should still be approved within the five-month time frame (which, I know, feels like an eternity). I know you've heard this all before, but I felt like sharing some goodwill with you guys. I hope you don't have bad feelings towards the CSC-TSC-CSC transfers who are now jumping back in line ahead of you (back to where we should have been, really!), and please know that most of us don't have any bad feelings towards you! We're mostly just thinking of ourselves anyway and just hoping that USCIS is really going to follow through on their promises and that this nightmare will end soon.
The very best of luck to all of you!

why do you keep coming here spreading your vindictiveness around?? If you don't like what is on this thread stay off..maybe your not getting approved because of your attitude..its called Karma..we are trying to stay happy and positive through this whole experience and support each other..maybe you should start your own thread ....or like the other guy said ..stop all this and have a group hug..I think we all joined this forum for the same purpose to get info and to help each other bring our loved ones over..

The USC needs to file the I-130 as soon as possible, takes about 8-10 months (CR-1)
Alternatively, dont get married yet and file a K-1 visa, tajes about 6-8 months
Why dont you tell your friend to create a profile here on VJ, and come join us for the ride

why not take your exclamation points and your other grievances to the USCIS?
what i don't understand is you keep screaming at people here? is it any of our faults you were dealt your situation? did these people bribe anyone at the USCIS to get through before you? was there some secret way to cut in line ahead of you?
my point being is that maybe you should quit being bitter here because we are all in the same boat in this thread in terms of just being happy for the ones that get out of the USCIS and keeping positive in the hopes that we also get the chance to get through as quickly as possible.
so again. instead of pleading your case here, maybe you should call the USCIS and explain to them everything you have posted here. nobody in here can help you. we are all just waiting in line for our turn.

I can't speak for everyone else here with any authority at all, but I've been reading these forums every day and I'd be very surprised if there was more than a -very- small minority of people who are 'happy' or 'thankful' for the horrible situation you folks that got transferred to TSC have to put up. I can't imagine how hard it is, and I really do hope you all get approved immediately. Had any of us been given the choice of 'speeding up' our process by relegating those that went before us to some interminable TSC wait, I'm positive that the vast majority of people would have waited in line --- everyone on VJ has already demonstrated their willingness to wait and do the right thing merely by going through the I-130 process as opposed to breaking the law.
All that being said, I hope that this recent increase of "I just saw another October filer get approved, #######!, those jerks!" posts die down. If we could make the system right, we would. Nobody here wanted the TSC group to go through extra wait, we didn't ask to have a more efficient process at your loss, and its certainly not my desire to cut in line. I imagine it must be disheartening to see someone who filed later approved before you --- I would be disheartened too, honestly. But the injustice is from the USCIS, not from the Oct/Nov/Dec filers, and I think most of us would like the TSC group very much to get approved and move on to happy lives together with their spouses.
I really, honestly, wish that you all get approved immediately. And if you and I got approved today, I'd hope they'd start on your file first. I also hope that everyone in this mess of a process roots for one another, we should all be happy to see anyone approved. At the most selfish, its at least one more file off of someone's desk so ours can be there, at best, its another person we've been in the trenches with that has won the war.

There seem to be a lot of people here who see the view the more recent filers who have gotten approved before the 5 month timeframe as the "enemy". I'm sure there isn't a single Sept/Oct filer that is happy about what has happened with the June/July/August filers, yet, in your post you seem to be clearly glad that a lot of the recently approved Sept/Oct filers have yet to receive an NVC number.
People, please don't forget that we are all here with a common goal in mind...to bring our loved ones to the USA. The recent filers are not at fault for the CSC to TSC drama/injustice. Why should their cases be put at a standstill until all of the remaining June/July/August cases are approved? If they were approved then they deserve to move on to the NVC and Consulate stages.
I bet that if things were different...if it had been the March/April/May filers who had been screwed over, while the June/July/August filers were breezing by, you wouldn't want them to put your case on hold after it had been approved, just so that the filers before you could catch up...why?...because it clearly would not have been your fault that you got approved before they did...only the USCIS is to blame

Bold part, so they did enter on a visa, yes?
So they didn't EWI? And AOS'd? Where did I say you couldn't do that? (and you can't enter illegal and then have a visa to overstay)
And I was talking about AOS from within the US, said nothing about people applying for visas hopping back across the border to their country to go to an interview.
Please, point out where my statement was wrong!
    And about switching sides?
I'v mainly been posting facts, which you keep shutting down with nothing to back it up with but ill-wishes to other people.
I'm still of the opinion that something needs to change with the USCIS system of not letting us know anything about our case while it's pending and that they need to be accountable for their service.
Please, again, show me where I'v been saying anything different!

Again, a US citizen does not have the right to bring a loved one into their country.
A US citizen has the right to PETITION to bring a loved one into the country.
I think that we are forgetting here that when people here are stating that is it a privilge, it is a fact, not an opinion.
In the eyes of the USCIS, a US citizen does not have the right to demand this, they have a right to ASK.
Wrong or right, that is the way it is, and the law that we as petitioners or beneficiarys must follow.

We've filled out the forms, and paid out the fees,
We've dotted the i's and crossed all the t's.
It's frustrating at times, and seems like a racket,
When you get the forms, but no instructions in the packet!
Now we sit here at times, and say what's the deal,
Please simplify the process, not re-invent the wheel.
You'd think that by now, it would be figured out,
Cuz how many people have gone the same route?
My fiancé and I, have been waiting forever,
For an interview date, its now or never?
The stress of it all, can be hard to take,
Especially at night, when you lay wide-awake.
You try to stay cool, and you try to stay calm,
not turn crazy, and blow up like a bomb.
So please make it soon, and grant him a Visa,
So Natoy can come home, and be with his Leesa!

The simple fact is that people don't how long it really takes for an immigrant spouse to be allowed into the country, let alone to get a Green Card. When I tell people I've been waiting 6 months and I expect to wait another 6 months, they are shocked because they all thought the process was more or less instantaneous. Get married and then you're home-free. Finally this is not an issue affecting very many people, as opposed to TSA pat-downs or the Arizona immigration laws so the media is not interested. That's why we have essentially no voice. Although, 19,000 cases in November at CSC seems like a lot of people. I would say the best way to affect change is to write your Senators once a week. Writing your local newspapers isn't a bad idea either.

IMO this is because of the over-reaction to 9/11. We need FBI checks on everybody coming into the country as a permanent resident? Like they couldn't cause a problem on a 6-month tourist visa if they really wanted to. The real loss due to terrorisms is billions of dollars and untold number of man-hours spent on useless gestures so we feel safer. And the kicker is that we do it to ourselves.

A couple of things for people to think about...
The deadline for Haitian TPS filings was 3 days ago. USCIS is no longer accepting them. If you want to complain to your representatives about the slow processing times then by all means do so. It never hurts to put a little fire under them, and they subsequently put some fire under the USCIS director to improve things. However, if you're going to make the argument based on TPS filings, whether you think you've got the data to prove it or not, you're beating a dead horse. You'd basically be telling them that what you want them to do has already been done, so they don't really need to do anything. They'll write you a nice letter (on really beautiful congressional stationary) telling you "Thanks for your concern. The deadline for TPS filings has passed, so you don't have to worry about them anymore." A better argument might be that you, a US citizen, are paying the government for this service and they aren't delivering. They tend to listen to voters whenever money is involved.
Re. your "right" to have someone immigrate...
Every "right" recognized under US law has a basis in the Constitution. If you want to claim that you have a right to have your wife or fiancee immigrate to the United States then you're going to need to find a Constitutional basis for it. You won't be the first one to have tried it, and nobody has yet succeeded to have any court in the US confirm that immigration is a right for anyone. In fact, the courts have repeatedly determined that immigration is a privilege granted at the discretion of the US government. This viewpoint is reinforced in the immigration law and the policies for DHS and Department of State. If you manage to prove this is truly a right then there will be sweeping changes in those laws and policies.
What's that? This isn't their country? It belongs to US, the PEOPLE? Guess what? The US government is US, the PEOPLE! We elected them to represent US, and to make laws on OUR behalf. If you don't like the immigration laws that they passed then let them know! Tell them to change them! Just remember that yours isn't the only opinion they have to listen to. They represent a lot more people than just you, and the majority of people in the US today don't want to see any immigration law reform that's going to make it easier for people to come to the US. The majority of people want to see the current laws enforced much more strictly.
    Good luck!

But surely you understand that there HAVE to be some constraints on immigration for the very simple reason that if everyone was allowed, the country would be at breaking point very, very quickly.
The issue with this visa process is transparency. It takes a long time to process these cases, but if we all had more feedback instead of having to sit here twiddling our thumbs we may at least feel like things were moving for us.
The reason we are all investigated IS because of the people out there who will enter into a sham marriage just to move to the USA. Its logical that the government have to investigate our claims and decide whether it is a real or fake marriage. It really is as simple as that. Occasionally people engaged in a real relationship will be denied, but this is why there is always an appeal process.
For me, if I was denied at interview, that would not be the end of it by any means. If you dont have the means to move to another country, you try again. You build up more evidence and you try, try, try.
I have entered into this situation with a dogged determination that I wont give up, and that is why we need places like this to come and gain advice and feedback, not somewhere that we attack members when they are simply stating fact.
