    So angry- i went to get my license plate for my new car- but needed a Georgia license- well I cant get a Georgia license without my green card- still waiting on my green card after the interview approval on Oct 26th. boo anyone else have a familiar situation? why is my green card taking so long? seems like everyone else gets to so quick!

      You should be eligible for your licence plate with the I-551 stamp in your passport, you should call them to inform that with that stamp, you are a permenant resident

      The GC should take 10 business days from approval. Have you gotten the approval email? Sounds to me if you were approved at the interview that the IO hasn't actually pushed the button to approve you yet. I'd make infopass and see about the approval. They don't give out stamps usually any more. Good luck.

    A Little put off- I had my interview for my GC on the 26th and I was approved- but on the USCIS- my application hasnt been touched since the 4th, and it says its still in review- anyone else take this long???

      they asked simple questions- they asked my husband my parents name, where they lived, has he met them. asked why i married him, why i moved to the states, she was more interested in seeing proof we are in a relationship- bills in each names etc. that was our issue, so take as much as you can! we both dont have credit cards, so we had to show that he bought me a car and i am on his insurance, so we showed that, and pics too. that was pretty much it. nothing to hard- or that you couldnt an...

    Less than a week until my Interview! im moving/trying to find a car all this week, soo stressful! not to mention my brain is all on the interview!

      id love to know what kind of questions they ask, i have read alot but so many diff answers, how stressful was it?

      Do not over prepare, the consul will talk to you casually. If you marriage is real you shouldn't worry. Your answers should match though.
