  1. yep...u r right but i think 2009 and 2010 ppl are still left in good numbers...so it vl definately progress but not that much faster.....PLZ GOD IN THIS MATTER PROVE ME WRONG AND PROVE JOSEBME RIGHT.....PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I know lots of PD 2009 got interview last year when PD moved faster, and also many people got AP too. Now whole things is depends on Visa allotments. If people who got interview when PD was current for them( I am assuim visa number that already assigned by US consulate), then more visa should be available on next 3 Visa bulletin. On the other hand, If US consulate return all the numbers at monthly base to the DoS, It might be possible to PD will move slowly like 1 or 2 months per VB.:bonk:

  2. You must provide 2010 IRS tax transcript at the interview time. You call IRS & request for transcript one for ur brother & one for urself.

If u don't submit IRS transcript ur wife will definitely get AP.

For ur safe side ur wife can make another police report ...but not necessarily needed since its not 1 year pass yet.

What my wife asked @ interview time. If she had 2010 URS transcript . So ur wife will also be ask since you have joint sponsored.

    Good luck deshi Bhai.

    hi miami boy,

    i am confused little bit.

because i did my tax return by direct mailing to IRS ,not by doing e-filing.

if i didn't do e-filing why i need IRS transcript.

Please deshi bhai let me whether i need transcript or not.

because on my tax file i have tax laweyer sign and identifications.

i only heard that if u do e-filing then u need IRS transcript.

    thanks a lot.

Oh boy, You confused me too. No matter you filed a regular tax return or E-filing, you must need a copy of your tax transcript.

Tax transcript is totally different than your 1040 form. All I want you to do Call # 1-800-829-1040 and request for both tax transcript, One for your brother and one for yourself. and send it to your wife before her interview. Your wife will ask for tax transcript for the year of 2010. Because when my wife went to interview, the first Bangali lady want tax transcript for every ones. She also said that if you dont have tax transcript, Dhaka Embassy will not issue visa...It is mandatory for Dhaka US embassy to provide IRS transcript with envelope on it.

I am just telling you my wife's interview experience!!

    Good Luck!!

  3. I think if they say u can make copies that means that the envelope is not important ...I will probably make copies...I personally dont think that Tax return transcript is important.I am doing this just to be on the safer side...Cos I already have the copies of my tax return which I filed at the beginning of this year...I am sure that will b enough cos my cousin appeared to interview last week and they asked him to submit the copies of the tax return only..Didnt mention any Transcript.

Due to lack of knowledge when I was filing for my wife and child...I filed separately for both...I should have just filed for my wife and mention my child ...I actually paid filing fee for both...But then I talked to someone at NVC And told asked them to give them interview on the same time and date..He said they will take care of that, cos they know that the child cant appear alone...My son just turned 3.

Irs transcript is proven that you have paid the taxes previous year ..regular 1040 form doesn't show that u have filed for the taxes, even of u want to buy a house Bank will required IRS transcript where shows that u made all the payment to IRS. As I mentioned u that many were abused the system & now all the embassy is required For IRS transcript with envelope, so they can justify it is original provided from IRS office. I think u already order transcript, when u open the transcript then u will know How legitimate it look like lnstate of regular 1040.

Good luck on your wife's interview.

  4. hello miami boy,

my wife have interview date on sep.6 2011 at dhaka.

i think so i have to send recent tax return.and my brother was my co-sponsor.

we filed by tax lawyer but we mailed to IRS.

    NOT E-FILE,

we have copy of those and i think so i can send to my wife.

she also did police clearance at last year december.

whether she need new police clearance or not?

    pl let me know.

    thank u

You must provide 2010 IRS tax transcript at the interview time. You call IRS & request for transcript one for ur brother & one for urself.

If u don't submit IRS transcript ur wife will definitely get AP.

  5. if I did Tax Return by myself and I have in my computer I can print from my computer? Or I need only original transcript?

You got me confused!! If you file your tax return to IRS, then IRS should have your transcript. IRS is not provide any tax transcript unless you call them and request for it. You need a tax transcript( NOT RETURN COPY OF YOUR 1040) for the interview to showing a proof of income.

  6. Brother...I am sorry for giving u hard time...But I really wanna make sure cos I already have the return transcripts which I got from the filer when I filed my taxes...So is it enough or do I really need the one from IRS in envelope? Sorry bro but You gotta help me with this. Thanks

If you have one already then fine, Just asking you question, Was transcript originally come from IRS office? or you just have photocopy of it? Remember you need the original transcript from IRS office.

  7. This is an interesting topic guys. I applied for my husband and our priority date is FEB. 05 2010. Our case completed since Dec 2010. My brother was my co sponsor, but now he doesn't have a job anymore. My question is if that's going to be a problem if i'll send both his and my 2010 tax documents at the time that my husband will get his interview or should i get an another co sponsor. Please advise. Thank you.

First of all you need to get another co-sponsor to support your case file at interview time. Honesty is the policy. Nowadays USCIS/NVC/US consulate can access the employment verification thrhough their system. Also you have disadvantage that your case hasn't been yet review by US consulate . So when they review they'll find out about your co-sponsor emploment and it will given a RED FLAG on your case. I would say call NVC and ask for if you could update your Affidavit of support by adding new co-sponsor, thats how you could beat system.

    Good Luck!!!

  8. Thanks...I tried to call that number but looks like they are open only on business days...I will call again tomorrow inshaAllah.

I wont be able to get it for my cousin cos he has already appeared to the interview and cos he didnt have the 2010 tax returns so he has been put on AP and asked to submit the tax return as soon as possible...But I will try to get it for my wife cos she has yet to get interview date.

Before our case was completed ,at the time of sending the documents to NVC we had sent only the copies of the tax return 1040.and those were accepted.

You gotta remember that NVC is a contractor between US Embassy and DoS. Always final decision make by US consulate about your visa issuing. Since there was alots of fraud documents submited by petitioner..Now US embassy is very tight about Tax matters.

Good luck on your upcoming interview!!!

    Have a Happy!!

  9. But My question is ,Is it a must to be in IRS envelope or we can just take the one we got from the filer when we files our taxes.I do have my copies for the tax returns (Form 1040) of 2010 and also for the co sponsor...What else do i need from IRS?

You can provide your tax stuff using 2 option:

    1. Call 800-829-1040 and get both petitioner & Joint spnsor tax transcript for 2010.

    2. You can go to local IRS office and get stamp IRS certified copy on both 1040 tax return for 2010.

I would highly recommend use #1, which is granted as official US government documents.

IRS envelope is using for prevent fraudulent documents submit at US embassy. So you have legitimate copy of proof that you have submit solid tax documents.

I hope you got my point.

    Thanks

  10. What do u mean by envelope ? When we file our taxes,we get those customer copies from the agent...Isnt that enought ? And Is it only the sponsor who need it in the envelope or the Co sponsor as well (as we have a joint sponsor)...And Is it free to get it or u need to pay for it?

oh boy...Call the above number get one for free 2010 tax transcript and send it to your wife before her interview. You will receive a transcript with IRS envelope. Do not open the IRS envelope, Just hand it consular office at the time of interview. This is mandatory for produce a recent tax transcript otherwise she will get an AP for sure.

If you need more info PM me, would love to help you out.

  11. i am waiting for sep'6.2010.

my wife will go for visa interview.

hope so everything will go nice and smooth.

    Hey Dhaka Dream,

Just giving you latest info at Dhaka US Embassy. My wife had an interview and got her visa last thursday. My wife told me that 2 F2a applicant didn't get visa because they did not have IRS 2010 tax transcrip with Irs envelope. Make sure you provide the latest IRS taxt transcript with IRS envelope sealed. The officer will open the envelope for visa processing. If you haven't get one from IRS yet, call # 1-800-829-1040 and follow the prompt, It should be arrive at your mailing address within 10 to 15 days.

Good luck to your wife's interview.

  12. I think they need a orginal AOS form for with sponser signture...Not a scan copy... what u think guys ???

You only need a complete I-864 affidavit of support form with original signature and IRS tax transcriptfor 2010 original with IRS envelope.

by the way just letting you know that I-864 affidavit of support is only demand for current income level, for supporting documents you need to provide recent pay stubs(last 3 months would be fine).

    Best of Luck!!

  13. hi all, plz guide me through in a situation where baby was born after case completion, so i was wondering if it'll effect the AOS.do i need new AOS for my husband , since he'll be interviewing , i live in US with baby...

    PD: JAN 2009 F2a

    case completed : october 2010

    baby born : october 2010 . (2 week difference)

    thanks ,

The best solution for you only person i can provide you since i went through similiar situation. My I -130 case approved last year around July and immediate got an case # and NVC processed my case, I realized that my wife was little over 8 month pregrant, I wouldn't able to finish NVC process even PD wasn't current. Anyway So I called NVC and Spoke to Supervisor SUE, SHe was very nice to me, Here is what she told me over the phone:

Q: My wife 8 months pregrant what should i do to expedite the case:

Ans: Paid all the fees and wait till baby born and send us birth certificate via email, we will include your child at same petition.

So i was waited till my son born in September, then I emailed birth certificate. After week later I received another IV fee bill which was for my son, i can see in the NVC payment portal my son name on it.

After paid the fees & i sent all the documents and case was completed. No hassle at all.

In your situation baby born after your case completed.

I would highly recommend you that Just send an email to NVC with attached your child birth certificate and pay the fees and also updated your Affidavit of support with NVC as soon as possible before you got an interview. otherwise you never know if US embassy what ask you at time of interview about child! I am sure you have to pay for IV fee for the child and also update your affidavit support.

If i were situation I would do call NVC and ask for supervisor to looking for solution.

Sometime US embassy ask for child DNA, which is Pain in the butt: atleast 3-6 months for DNA process.

    Good Luck!!

  14. Hello VJ-ers!! Couldn't understand where to post this. Everybody is so tensed as the VB is abt to publish. When I was in the queue to enter the Montreal consulate, found out most of us are VJ users. Couldn't recognize them as I guess I was the only one with F2A case there. So I alws used the "Bringing family members of permanent residents to America" forum. Met somebody there who spent so much money to hire a lawyer b4 finding out abt VJ. I felt so sad when I heard that her visa was on hold as her lawyer told her that its OK to bring just a copy of AOS. Bt the CO needed the original AOS with live signature of the sponsor. Me, I had lots of bad experience abt lawyers while staying in Canada. So abt this, me & my husband both were determined not to use a lawyer. Anytime I had a problem, I googled the qs & found out someone somewhere in VJ has already asked the qs & had their solutions. I don't have any word to thank this forum & the ppl alws there to help with their best knowledges (Ricardo, Mitch, Miami boy & the list is on and on.. )

Despite my country of birth(Bangladesh) & religion, the visa was approved. The only qs was asked was how I met my husband & related qs to that qs. CO didn't ask me anythn abt the denial of my entry to USA. Probably bcz I explained it on the DS 230 form. When the CO gave me the paper (Welcome to United States of America) I was wondering is that real that I can see my husband after 2 looong years. I started crying holding the paper in front of the CO. I can't explain how I spent every second here living all by myself, not seeing my husband for so long, opening the VB page every month & wishing sth miracle will happen & my visa will be available again. When I saw so many ppl are waiting just like me & read their stories, I felt like.. I'm not alone. Thank you & thank you everybody. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Best of luck to the ones who are having their interviews this month & those who are waiting for the miracles in VB. I hope all of us can unite with their spouses and kids soon.. Long live Visa Journey

Congratulations.....My wife picked her visa today.. It was great feelings when she woke me up @4am this morning with best news ever get in my life..

    Have a Happy life!!!

  15. Miami Boy,

You mean that for each case the Consular asks for another I-864 at the time of interview? meaning that each sponsor does that twice? once when filing for the beneficiary and once when the beneficiary gets his interview?

Also, if this year i can make as high as poverty line, but loose my job at the time of my husband interview, will he be denied eventhough i made i.e.$20,000?

    Thanks

    Mitra

As per your previouse post, you mention that NVC sent you checklist that your previouse submitted I-864 will make decision on your consulate interview time. So if you want to beat the poverty guideline for your future interview, then you have to fill up new I-864 with new tax transcript where shows that you have enough income for supporting your spouse so he/she cannot get public charge in the future.

In I-864 is demanding your present income not previouse income. If you showed that you have lost your job, that means your present income level is 0. in that case you need to find co-sponser.

The best bet for you, Just wait for the interview schedule and will have enough time for you to figure out what you need to do so.

    Best of Luck!!

  16. As a LPR I applied for i-130 for my husband in October 2009.So My husband is F2A.

In 2010 when the visa process was fast, they asked me to sponsor him (Affidavit of support). I was out of country living with him so my 2010 income was just$5000. we both showed that together we have sufficient assets (bank statements inside & outside of the U.S.) to reach the poverty level (5*18,400$)but NVC sent us a letter stating that:

Please be advised that you, as the Petitioner, do not appear to meet the minimum income requirement according to the current poverty guidelines to sponsor the intending immigrant(s) for this

petition. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this

requirement at the time of your interview. In order to avoid delays, you

may wish to submit an additional Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) for a

Joint Sponsor to the National Visa Center to assist in sponsoring the

    intending immigrants.

So I returned to the U.S. & it's almost 4 months that I have been working here in the states(earned $13000 up to now). Since it's probable that I loose my job in September, and my current employer's letterhead shows the amount I earn per YEAR which is way higher that poverty line, I would like to see if i can resubmit I-864 or do something regarding my husband situation(I can't find any joint sponsor. Please advise me if you have any idea

1-Is it possible that I fill out another I-864 adding my employer's letterhead & my current pay stubs (which are still less than $18,400)? And if so, will they ask my husband to show evidence that I earned $18400 or still working, in the time of his interview which can be in 3 months?(depending on Visa bulletin process)

2- Can the consular or NVC ignore my 2010 low income if my pay stubs of this year show that I earned at MOST $19000?

3-If I can send another I-864 (affidavit of support), do you suggest me to do that right away or wait till my total income of all the months (including august +the first 2 weeks of september) I worked reaches $18,400?

    Thanks for your comments

I am assuiming that you're case was completed by NVC. YOU DONOT NEED TO SEND ANY KIND OF DOCUMENTS UNLESS NVC EMAIL TO YOU AND ASKING FOR IT. You also need fill up a new I-864 with supporting documents and submit at the time of interview.

Please follow the new poverty guideline as link for you: http://www.uscis.gov...form/i-864p.pdf

For losing your Job, it wont help you at all for your husbad's approval. I would highly recommend that you need to find co-sponsorship for your husband's approval. Most cases denied for above reason.

    Good Luck!!
