  4. Also, I saw that check was cashed today! It's kind of sad to see that money being cashed, but the bright side is that this is the last of it!

Can someone please help to update the check cashed date?

    Thanks!

    Tina

My check hasn't been cashed yet, the check was submit by my wife's bank account. Is that gonna be a problem? I have received text and email message yesterday and I can see my case status too.

I hope they will not send back application due to submit third party check(my wife).

  6. No sweetheart. You are not approved for citizenship based on your ability to pay bills. It's a different story if you owe the Federal Governent and you are delinquent in your payment. I would suggest getting a payment arrangement before attending your interview. Other than that credit score and all that is irrrelavant. Just make sure to stay out of trouble and continue to obey the laws. Good luck with everything.

I dont get it. I dont owed any money to government/federal. I owed to bank/financial institute. I also heard that b/k is federaly approved yourself from debt collector. Federal court issue an approval of protect from debt collector. Please correct me If I am wrong.

    Thanks.

  7. I am going to file for my citizenship in july. I have a bad credit and also received couple of summons from lawyers for non payments. I need to know does it effect on my citizenship file, like uscis will deny application?

I would greatly appreciate if some one give me an advice who has going through same situation.

    Thanks.

  8. Its an open secret what USCIS and DOS does to show they are following the rule to the point, when they openly falsify the supposed "demand". I have seen their reports of year over year the visa issuance and adjustment of status (http://travel.state.gov/visa/statistics/statistics_1476.html) that shows their overflowing the visas to other countries and categories. However, it is our prerogative to bring to attention from the CIS Ombudsman, that was created to hear from stakeholders on their USCIS/DOS functioning. In addition, I have been trying to mail copies of these reports highlighting these numerical discrepancies which DoS calls following numerical limitations to the congress judiciary committee and subcommittee of immigration. While election is near and anti immigrant laws are rampant, and I am not expecting any huge change in the way DoS works, just the fact that many beneficiaries and petitioners are contacting the CIS Ombudsman or congressmen with regards to rampant misrepresentation of visa issuance or demand might as tell a different story to people who make the laws or oversee these agencies. If you are content with remaining on the sidelines hoping and praying, such practice would become the mainstay with no respite ever on the horizon.

I totally agree. Cis ombudsman cannot do anything with AP. It's a big security issue. Thats main key DoS using to minimize visa issuing in overseas.

You can take an example as my wife who had an AP. I had to called Florida governor through my boss and got her visa issued within 10 days.

    Good Luck!!

  9. Finally, a word from the people who run the visa office - Mr. Charles Oppenheim

Although it helps to hear from Mr.Oppenheim, it seems that visa office /DOS always make excuses with their numbers, especially the numbers stating the requisite demand, however, consulates not issuing visas with reasons of their "qualified F2A applicant" as stated above, leading to overflow to other categories like F1, F3, F4 etc or other countries like mexico or dominican republic.

Still one step forward. Hoping the commuincation to members of congress will yield some results or atleast some positive steps.

    Brother,

    You already received your answer!!

If Cosulate office is not satisfied on F2A applicant documents at the interview time, so that visa number is going back to state department end of the month. So the applicant who already became current, unfortunately lost their visa number until AP/AR cleared from State Department. and the visa numbers also added in the State Department records!!:bonk:

So one applicant could receive several visa number according to consulate office matters!!!

What I understand from your post, US embassy already arranged another interview for your wife!! Just follow the instruction on Packet#4 which already attached to your email.

Dont worry about 221(g), I think its already cleared from State Department.

Good Luck on your wife's interview!!

  11. Guys!! I just believed that you wont have to wait for 4 years like I did 3.5 years. I seen that VB already gave you an estimate of prediction for next 2 VB, which is really good news.May be it will move slowly. As i also believe even if your case is current now, NVC wont issue an interview letter because of how busy your consulate offices are.:star: I am assuiming that after 2 months later when overseas embassy have enough open slot for F2A, it will move 3-4 month as per VB.

AS LAW doesn't promises that given out of full qoata of 88000, but it prevent not to exceeded.:crying:

    So Just be patience!!!

    Good Luck!!!

  12. yes she marked 221(g) and wrote about these documents under it..:(there was nothing about AP in that letter..just they demanded missing documents..now i know its just a waiting game:(..lets c wat happens.m hoping for the best.

221(g) means Administrative processing/Administrative review. What is my understanding, US embassy put you on AP plus RFE( Requesting for evidence).

Send the required documents as soon as possible, you might get luck in the mean time your may be clearance from state department and giving you visa soon they have reviewed your file.

    All the best of luck!!!

  13. hello all! i m from pakistan i am in f2a category just 2 days before, i had an interview in Islamabad..my priority date was may 2008.my interview went fine she asked few questions and in the end she said every thing seems to be fine i just want some more documents from you then she gave me a light blue paper on which it was written:

"section 221(g) which prohibits the issuance of visa to anyone whose application does not comply with the provisions of the immigration and nationality act or regulations issued pursuant thereto.the following remarks apply in your case.*

    wedding or marriage certificate

    2010 tax returns.

when i read this letter i said that i already have tax returns of 2010 of my husband..i showed her she said ok but v need original marriage certificate in native language i.e is urdu.then she kept my passport and also gave me back my original documents which were submitted in nvc.

now i am worried what will be the future process??as soon as i will submit the original marriage certificate in urdu they will issue me visa or is there chance they can put ne in Administration Processing?in thje paper they gave me there was nothing written about AP nothing else just about missing documents.please help me i m really worried..waiting for ur replies.thanks

Just want to know Was she wrote in the blue paper in very end said that you need the above documents? or she thick mark on 221(g) and wrote the requesting documents.

I am guessing from my wife's recent interview: My wife also has an blue sheet but did not thick mark on 221(g), at the very end consulate wrote that she will be calling when embassy will able to issue visa. Fortunately, she had called from embassy after week later for visa pick up!!

If it is thik mark on 221(g), even you submit the requested documents later, you have to wait for AP to be completed. As recent Islamabad embassy review 8 out of 10 get AP.:bonk:

Sorry I feel bad for Pakistani's spouse specially women has to go through AP process.

  14. Hello everybody!

Here's a question. A friend of mine, a LPR, has to travel to her home country. She's pregnant, and it is possible that her baby will be born while outside the US. What does she have to do to legally bring the baby back to the US? What paperwork does she need? Does the baby get a visa?

She says someone told her she can just board the plane with the baby and the baby will get her passport stamped with I-551 upon arrival to the US. That doesn't sound very plausible, though, since the baby will need some proof of permission to enter the US to board the plane in the first place.

Neither her nor me have been able to find related information on the uscis or travel.gov websites. Maybe we're missing something.

    I appreciate your help.

Your friend has only two options :

1: she could apply for tourist visa for the child.

2: she could apply for immigrants visa which she could do in here usa when child get approved tourist visa.

Unfortunately there's no travel paper for lpr born child.
