At this time it appears that you have established your eligibility for naturalization. If final approval is granted, you will be notified when and where to report for the Oath Ceremony.

I hope this is approval formal letter and every one receive this letter after successfully interview done

I got Approved.

IO was very friendly and talkative. I have reached at Tampa Office at 7:15 am and after 2 minutes he called my name and took me to his office. First word Raised your hand sworn. and he asked Civic question:

1. What did the declaration of Independence do?

2. We elect a US Senator for many years?

3. If both the President and Vice President can no longer serve, who becomes President?

4. What does the president's cabinet do?

5. Name one branch or part of the government?

6. How many justices are on the supreme court?

Then he went over my application and asked me why made six trips within 5 years? Thats all.

He congratulate me and told me that i will receive Oath letter in the mail.

I came out with big smile and gave big hug to my wife and 2 years old boy.

No worries, thanks for fixing !!! it's a good day Richard's passport arrived today we are waiting for the return of his naturalization certificate and he'll update social security.

I just viewed Alexis79's N-400 processing timeline.

It only took him about 2 months..

I'm waiting for my oath ceremony letter.

I have been checking USCIS site daily for my case status.

I have not seen them update it in a while.

Is this normal?

I started back in December 2012, and passed my interview in Mid March this year.

Alexis79 is Military Category and he suppose to be done within a month. Your Oath ceremony will depend on your local office applicants amount. Some offices has done ceremony 2/3 times a month, Call your local office or visit your local office, see how many ceremony they do in a month.

I passed the interview today! I was told the oath ceremony will likely be in a month.

Happy to state that my wife and I passed the interview last Thursday. Luckily for us the oath was administered that same afternoon and we received our Certificates of Naturalization. It has been a long 15 year journey. I would like to thank the forum members for all their inputs during the application process. All the information that you provided was very valuable and kept our nerves in check during the interview. I would like to congratulate everyone that have passed their interviews or that have become citizens and wish the best for all others.

I am updating the status and changing the color to red .

desicion can not be made now ????? i had an interview two days ago .. i was arrested one time almost one year ago about the treffic crime .. IO said me my supervisior will review your arrest case thats why desicion can not be made now .. during the waiting to desicion .. are they gonna check again my relationship and my all information?? how many days or month later can i get exactly desicion?

You need to be patience and keep checking your online status.

Decision Can not be made is means, IO will review your file and after satisfaction of your case file, then you will receive your decision. but until then calm down and keep praying.

My wife and I went to the interview today and wanted to say that she passed and was giving the notice that her oath ceremony is on the 27th at 7 am. She never slept she was so nervous and no matter how much I told her she had nothing to worry bout she still did. She is now calling all her family in Vietnam. Great day for her.

Our journey has finally come to an end! Richard's oath ceremony was this morning and it was a lovely and touching event, I have to say everyone at the Philadelphia USCIS office was polite and friendly, many offered congratulations along the way, It really seemed that they enjoyed their jobs. The place packed with "new Citizens" and their families and friends and Richard looked so handsome in his navy suit and his American flag tie. My daughter, granddaughter and I had little flags to wave and it was just wonderful. Of course I must give props and thanks to the visajourney forum and participants for advice and support over the entire immigration process.

On to the Passport and upgrading Social Security (and of course registering to vote) but the hard part is done. Best wishes and best of luck to all that are behind us.
