Don't fax or mail anything. As mentioned before, schedule an infopass and take that document with you. You need the original to prove your point. Don't leave it at your appointment though. Make a copy.

Bob,..why did you remove yourself from the list?. I understand your frustration with this,..you even got frustrated at me when I first tried to update the list, but I learnt from my mistakes, as will the others.
I was personally benefitting from your entry,..as even though I am testing in San Bernardino, Los Angeles is where I have to take oath, and was comparing your office, dates and times to mine, to see whether we may or may not end up at same ceremony...

We're havinb rib eye roast, prawns, cheesy mashed potatoes, asparagus, salad and rolls for Thanksgiving dinner. My daughter is a vegetarian, so we do the prawns for her.
We will be doing our big family Christmas celebration on Dec. 4th, and we'll have the traditional turkey dinner then.

Listen VJ friends, I don't see why we are giving Just Bob so much attention. He has been nothing but rude, feisty and sarcastic and I have had just about enough. He feels like he can have a tantrum and speak to people anyway he likes, then he better be able to eat what he dishes out.
For me it's good riddance. As Ja Tam says, it's really not that serious, I don't think anyone has purposely and intentionally deleted his and others update. It's obvious it's an honest mistake. Immigration is a frustrating process in itself we really, well me personally can do without the unnecessary insults whether it's directed at me personally or not. We should be here for each other, not break each other done.

Wow, Bob. Don't play well in the sandbox, do you. Seems like it's your way or the highway. Honestly, the chart is not that serious. Ok, there have been mistakes and errors, but an error in the chart is not going to slow down the process for you. The error was pointed out and we move on. No need to get worked up over it and write inflammatory messages. This thread is not just for you.
Wish you well in your journey and I hope that you learn to not sweat the small stuff!
    BLESSINGS!!!
Good luck to everyone on their journey and for all those with upcoming interviews, all the best! We're looking forward to hearing about your experiences.

Hi all, glad to see the oath letters are starting to arrive!!!! Just one little thing, I think we should update the timeline (the people that have received the interview letter or those who know their interview date) so we can all see the progress of everyone. Good luck everyone!!!!

They just changed this. See the news item on the front visajourney.com page. Starting in a few days, if they haven't already, they're going to start using biometrics photos for Naturalization Certificates instead of the passport photos.
They're still gonna make us send passport photos for some reason. Backups, I think, according to their FAQs.

Interview report today at Yakima, Washington State.
Any of you cool dudes who think you can walk in there without a sweat can think again. The day of your interview you WILL feel queasy.
I arrived in Yakima an hour early. Went to Wendy’s for a burger and coffee. They asked if I wanted cream and I said yes. They said oh we don’t have any. I asked if they had a slice of apple pie or whatever like McDonald's – NO. What a dump and viva McDonald's. I saw a gas station across the road and thought I would kill time and go there. The pumps had no card slot and it said pay inside. The woman said how much gas you need and I said I wanted to fill up. She said she wanted ID and my card and she would keep my card until I filled up. At this point I thought what a dump this town is. These people are lucky to have me as a citizen. I shouldn’t be nervous, they should be nervous that I might pull out.
The weight lifted and I relaxed and I felt great. I went to the USCIS. Night club bouncer with a big gun etc and marine hairstyle and muscles. British bobby he was not. He asked me if I had a cell phone and then asked me if I had a gun.
Bang on time the lady asked me in and she was absolutely great. She put me totally at ease and chatted but she was VERY professional too and I reckon she was getting my guard down at the same time as being pleasant and chatty. We chatted about all sorts. I did the answers about me not being a communist or a terrorist etc and I then did the 6 questions and got all six.
She asked about the gun club and I told her I drank coffee with the Vietnam vets twice a week and it was a great social life. I told her one of em said to me that if it wasn’t for the French, the Americans would still be speaking English. I think she was ok with that but I should have watched my mouth as it was running away with me because things were going so well.
She asked if my wife was a citizen and I said she was from Milwaukee and she was a ‘packer fan’
She sat upright and said – “Your wife comes from Pakistan ? “
I said “no she is a Packer Fan – you know, Green Bay Packers”. I don’t think she knew about football but she relaxed again.
Then she said “Oh, you applied too soon”. My heart sank coz I thought I had nailed the 89 days prior to GC anniversary and we would have to do it all again and I would lose my money.. Then she said I wasn’t eligible for the oath until November 5 and she would keep the file until then and then write to me and give me 2 weeks notice. Phew I relaxed again. Told her I didn’t need 2 weeks as I was retired. Asked about ceremonies and they do them twice per month at Yakima. Sometimes at the courthouse with a judge and sometimes the USCIS are authorised to do it at their offices.
Anyway, I have the form here and it has 2 ticks.
1 You passed the tests of English and history and government
2 Congratulations ! Your application has been recommended for approval. (Their bolds) At this time, it appears that you have established your eligibility for Naturalization. If final approval is granted, you will be notified when and where to report for the oath ceremony’
So all in all I am a very happy bunny. No junk about more of the file to come (It was a foot thick) and twice a month ceremonies too !
I reckon I should be all done by the end of November and have the passport by xmas at the very latest.
I still can’t believe I can file my marriage divorce etc FOREVER after all the times I have been involved with this stuff for 5 years. I suppose this really is freedom.
All in all it was a pleasant experience once I was in the room but I was worried before. If I had been a shady character with something to hide, she would have gotten some dirt out of me with her reassuring manner which was very skilled. She was really good at her job.

We have a 2 yr old American Staffordshire Terrier. she is the "cousin" of a pitbull, and many people mistake her for one.
We have her trained as well, and like welshie said we have never had an ounce of aggression from her either. with that said, we never leave her with someone she has never been around either.
Just like people, dogs are a product of their own environment, and only know what they are taught, or trained to do.
After 26 years, that man should know how to read some basic english, and precautionary signs, instead of relying on others, that is no excuse as far as I am concerned. But, also, if the owners know those dogs are capable of such aggression they should not be left in a UNSECURED yard. The fence should of been locked so as young children, who can't yet read, don't freely let themselves in.
I think it should be a case of both parties going halves in medical bills, end of story. they were both at fault!

What is this fuzz all about?
He will get his oath letter in the mail soon. Many people don't get a cheerful "yeah . . . you passed . . . right on, Dude" after the interview. Are you guys are going gagga now over the fact that a decision could not be made right away? That means nothing, absolutely nothing. Often they still have to look at the FBI files, check some responses in regard to the data on file, or talk to the supervisor. That's it.

I recently returned to this site after an absense. I chose to leave for a while because of the way the forums were headed at the time. The "old timers" on here will surely know what I mean. It was getting mean and nasty. plain and simple.
I have come to notice that not much seems to have changed.
In a particular forum on here right now, tables are created for various stages of the relevant immigration journey. People are free to update when they have something to add.
I think this is a good tool. But,..
When some people don't update something correctly, or accidently does something incorrectly, they are scolded like a naughty kid. And when some people notice that mistakes are made they are downright rude, and seem inconvenienced by the whole situation. Some people need to realise that some are not as skilled as others in this regard, when it comes to updating things, no matter how "easy" the rules seem.
Obviously, you have nothing else better to do than berate people. great Job! Instead of being rude, why don't you offer to update for the people that are having problems.
It's no wonder some people dont come back to update things. I am guessing next you will complain because they wont do this either....and it will mess up informational timeline.
