Necessary arrangements on my end have been made, I will be able to go with my wife to her interview (even though I have to wait outside the interview area)!
you can give your US passport to her and during her interview, she can just slip this line..."....yeah, my husband is waiting for me in the hallway etc.." maybe she can put all her documents along with your passport on the table.... hehe :-D
