  1. i far as i know wen all the consulates around the world sends the statistical data to nvc then only nvc can create a platform for cut off dates. it's better to just wait for the march bulletin rather getting confused. gud luck!

    well u know we can all wait and see just hope for the best and pray and that is it. You heard what i said.. JUST PRAY AND PRAY. :thumbs: :thumbs:

    You are saying that the approved petitions for 2008/9/10 are 136216. Yet the current PD is 1 jan 2008, so the waiting list you mentioned are AFTER the current PD.

    Second, most of the approved petitions are from the top 2-3 counties that have their own PD i.e. mexico, india etc. Thus regardless of the size of the queue, the word wide dates may still move.

    Lastly, looking at previous visa bulletins, I see that whenever there has been a regression in the F2A categorn, the PD has come back to the pre-regression within MAX 6 months. If we predict the future on just this fact, then we have to make up 2 years and 7 months in the next 4 months. So I'm going to guess that the PD will move forward by 6 months.

    Futhermore, looking at the history I have never seen Big regression, followed by no change, followed by another regression. So it's safe to assume that the PD will not be going backwards AT LEAST!

    Please know that I appreciate your analysis, however it is impossible for anyone to predict the PD movement. I for one, would rather think POSITIVE :-)

    Keep posting ...

    6MONTHS PLZ PLZ hope u r correct sir. i will love u fore :whistle: :whistle: ver....

  2. My priority date is May 2010. Last year in Dec 2010 my priority date was current and suddenly in Jan 2011 retrogression start. My question is do i still get Interview appionment within few months? Because my case has completed.

    yeah retrogrssion sucks look at my timeline beeen 3 years almost man. Yeah u will not get any interview if ur date is not current. RIGHT NOW IT IS JAN 2008.

    so u have a lonnnnnggg way to go.. sorry but this is the truth.... MARCH BULLETIN IS COMING hopefully good new.

  3. your case has to be current before you will get an interview so if your priority date is AFTER January 1, 2008 then all you can do is to wait. March bulletin may bring some joy.

    few others in your situation. read below at the link,

    Y THINk march is gona get better???

  4. jj161: its hard to compare since these intervies could be for spouces of US citizens which dont have to wait for PD etc.

    IT totally sucks that you were ready by end of october but wern't called for an itnerview even in December.

    The other day I read a post from a F2A from India with a PD of 1 jan 2009, who complete his case at nvc in august and his wife had her interview 4th Nov 2010. That guy must have been FAST in sending his docs. My own PD is Sept 2008, |I'm hoping its current in April visa bulitin.

    yeah i guess luck of the draw.

    my case was done on the novem 17th and than they opened the case again i got a complete date of december 7th.

    do not know why the hell it moved.. also i had a RFE i think this messed me up alot. and i lost 5-6 months cause of the RFE.. i still have faith

  5. hello everyone,

    i was going thru the case numbers who are appointed for the feb interview at the mumbai consulate. there were 70 candidates in F2A category. i believe with case number we can have an idea in which year it was filed. like BMB2008452766 (means case was filed in 2008),(please correct me if i'm wrong) i saw lots n lots of 2008, 2009 and 2010 cases.

    my PD is 29JUN2008, and my case was completed on oct2010. just keeping hope to get the interview as soon as possible....

    thanks

    yeah hopefully u are one month behind my priority date. 19 MORE DAYS till march bulletin. Hopefully we will see some movement. :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

  6. hi

    i am permanent resident i applied for my husband dec 21 ,2010

    got receipt on 23rd dec 2010.

    i will be citizen may 2012

    can someone tell me in my case how long is it gona take to get visa?

    does retrogression will affect after citizenship?

    thanks

    for u to get a visa. u will have to wait for the PRIORITY DATE TO get current which will be like 2-3years. u will be citizen soon so that is a good thing. and after the u will get a interview.

  7. Now... Wish all the folks who are waiting and who has a spouse that is eligible to apply for naturalization go ahead and do it.

    Its a win win situation for all. Your husband/wife will be here sooner and then free up the F2A category.

    This is true.

    yeah i cannot naturalized yet i have 2 more years to go... i thought i was done with this #######... ahhh dammmmm APRIL 08 BULLETIN COMON PLZ GOD

  8. khanl,

    You need to figure out how many people waiting ahead of you in Pakistan...If it is already filled up for the year of 2011, you wont get visa interview. So many VJ'ers from philipines who'se PD in 2007, still no interview date assigned yet. atleast I figured out that Bangladesh is also huge people are waiting like me...Atleast i know several applicant in 2008 PD from Bangladesh haven't get any interview date since October/2010.:bonk:

    hmmm well if the date is PD date is CURRENT then i should have no problem i guess. My stupid RFE messsed me up or i would have gotten a interview by now. And yours i guess u filed in 2010. So i guess u have a wait if if the PD date becomes current. My case was running fine until RFE screwed it up and then i guess the retrogession hit me. so i guess we wait for Feb visa Bulletin. Hopefully some good news for us. ALLAH HELP US/

  9. Here is little hope>>>>>>

    V-visa is available for 2008 PD now. If some one Citizen due on 2012, I think they should apply for V-visa for re-unted with loved one..

    WRONG

    Who Can Get a V Visa?

    Spouses (husbands and wives) and unmarried children under the age of 21 of lawful permanent residents may apply for V visas under these conditions:

    * Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) petitioner MUST have filed the I-130 immigrant visa petition on or before December 21, 2000;

    * Priority date is at least three years old;

    * Priority date is not current;

    * Applicant has not already had an immigrant visa interview or been scheduled for an interview;

    * Petition is not already at an embassy or consulate abroad; and

    * Applicant is otherwise eligible as an immigrant

    The priority date is the date the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) received the petition.
