  1. Khani i think u will recieve your appointment letter by next month!!! Someone here from the Philippines received her appointment letter last May 27, 2011 and her PD is Jan. 2008 and one member from another forum also receive an appointment letter that same day with a PD of Feb. 2008,both of them have an interview date of July. That means that the July Visa Bulletin will bring a good news for us... Goodluck to you Khani!!!

HOLY #######... THAT IS SOME AUSOME NEWS... if feb 08 r getting INTERVIEWS. So i should be next in line..

  2. There are many analysis of July 2011 visa bulletin , but I found the below one interesting. Their prediction is done on the deep study on the previous months bulletin published and based on that they predicted for the july month.

    July 2011 Visa Bulletin

"F2A Visa cut-off dates for all countries other than Mexico will have a date in OCT07 to DEC07. Mexico cut-off date will be 01JAN08"

i wont mind a JAN 08 OR A DEC07 AS long as it is moving forward you know

  3. I've also analyzed the historic cut-off date data (91 to now).

The big retrogression that happen in 8/2001 and 6/2006 recovered within 2 months and 6 months respectively to the date before the retrogression. We're also seeing similar trend here, we're recovering back to the cut-off date before regression, i.e. 4/2010 where the wait time was 3.78yrs. Current wait time is 3.72 years.

The key difference is that the last two retrogression did not happen prior to a big forward movement like in 5/2010.

This is my theory :

2009 was a bad year for everyone, financial crisis, massive layoff, F2A applicant rates dropped significantly, USCIS collect a lot less fees, they had to create cash flow to save their jobs also, therefore they open up the gate for F2A to create massive applications (= $$$$$$$$), their jobs are saved once money's collected and now plenty to do, they close the gate and started chilling :reading: , relaxing again on our cases. :pop:

They created rapid movement because F2A visa usage was low and I think it's all because of the bad year in 2009.

The next few cut-off dates will indicate whether there's a real reduction in wait time for us or it was just a once in a lifetime thing... :innocent:

hopefully once in a life time. lets see next month i think probally 3-4 month movement

  4. What worries me is that June bulletin didn't mention any anticipate BIG forward movement for F2A. In fact it doesn't mention anything about F2A cutoff date in the coming months....so last month's statement still stands by default

    From May's bulletin :

"Family-sponsored: The extremely high level of demand during the first few months of FY-2011 resulted in the retrogression of most worldwide cut-off dates in January or February. Most of these cut-offs have begun to advance slowly, although demand is still somewhat heavy in the Family First preference which may require further retrogression of that date. At this time it is not possible to predict the rate of forward movement, but some movement is anticipated in most categories for the remainder of the fiscal year. "

but hey, no bad news is good news! :energy:

so u guess next month we should see some movement
