the thing is I just called NVC to ask about the interview date

and he told me that they currently treating august 25th 2007 PDs

yeah lol ohh ok yeah NVC IS SLOW..... they havnt even been updated by the JULY VB MARCH 08 YET...

Nothing new today non of got interview date yet it's look like shadow of sadness every where but don't loose hope soon all 2008 F2A will meet their love ones again inshaAllah.

The YR 2010 cases that you are mentioning about in the list of interview schedules refers to the NVC Case number(It includes the yr case was closed) and not the PDs.PDs go strictly by the visa bulletin.

So,For example PD of Feb 2008 would have case number XXXX2010XXXX(Mentioned in the cousulate website)and will be having an interview in july.

Anyone with APRIL 2008 PD gotten any interviews?.

Ok just got of the phone with them exact same thing VB IS AUGUST 2007. And i told them about the new VB. They said it take effect 1st of JULY. But still she was like VB will be 2008 MARCH n ur case is APRIL 2008.. you may need to wait next month... i am getting frustrated. Hopefully she is wrong.

The thing i do not get is that they r not on the JULY VB and u have gotten the interview. They keep telling me that the VB is 2007 AUGUST. Thus u have and couple of other MARCH 2008 have gotten interview. That is confusing as heck. :crying:

I have waited 37 min to get someone in the line, guess what it was worthy I heard the best news in my life. You need to call DOS between 9am to 10am. Unfortunately, Only Department of State(DOS) only schedule your interview date, NVC is work as contractor between State department and overseas consulate.

Only DOS provided the current visa bulletin ( July or next), NVC only goes by monthly current which is June VB. I hope you understand it.

This is the same response i got from NVC and chennai US consulate ie they r still with August 2007. I dont know how long tis journey is going to take again :-( nervously waiting and praying for the interview letter. Fingers crossed!

LOL any experts have any thoughts on this #######.... When will NVC update the VB and when can we be expecting out interviews?

Let me explain my situation. I'm here in the US, and i'm a Permanent Resident. I've submitted I-130 for my spouse and her PD is May 2011.

I'm concerned about her. So i was wondering, when her PD will be current with the current movement and how long will it take after the PD becomes current.

Thats what my question is. I'll become US citizen in July, 2013.

No it would be quicker if u become a US citizen. Way Way quicker. For your PD to be current it could be years.

Just call the number and ask for when you can expecting your wife's interview date....!! I hope you do so..

LOL man the dos sucks was one the phone for 20 minutes.... and no one will call tomorrow.

I called my good friends at the NVC and NO INTERVIEW... WE PROCESSING CASSES WITH PD OF AUGUST 07 blah blah blah....

So anyone know when does the NVC updates the VB?? :dance:

If i were in your situation, i would call DOS tomorrow and find out the case status.

Here is dos number: 202-663-1225 press 1 then 0 wait for someone to speak out.

DOS?? i usally call NVC about my case. SO i just call DOS and tell them my case # and they will let me know or what?

On my 8th month of waiting for interview for my daughter whose PD is Dec 2008 but I'm confident it would come before Oct 2011. I'm more motivated by the 1 yr rule than anything else.

YEAH u will know when ur interview will be close. We are still in line NO INTERVIEW. Hopefully next week is a good week for all of APRIL 08 DATES.

It is great clue, trust me once you have SIF, its mean NVC closed your file and ready to send to your local consulate office, I wouldn't know my interview date or email until I have seen VB july was current, So i called and found my sweet dream interview date, next day at 5:03 am I received interview email which stated the date on May 25th, 2011.

1 step down! my lovey-dubs and son had their medical yesterday (7am-2pm) and they were asked to be back on friday for immunization and the results. i hope the results will come out just fine and accordingly with God's blessings. they did not ask for his passport (my hubby still has it) which i believe they will do that on friday.

he said, the medical review was not as bad as he expected. it was fast and organized! just be on time, be healthy and you'll be fine.

1 more big last step and this journey will come to a STOP.
