YEAh nvc is ####### they did that to my case too was completed on the 17 nov and then they moved the completion to the decem 7th i got all screwed up and no INTERVIEW YET.

I just called them and they told me the same thing.

Khanl, your PD seems to be 4/08. You might be getting an interview next month depending on how much they advance.

I feel so bad for you khanl, I know you have been waiting since a long. If you didn't get RFE you would have made it for Dec. interview, retrogression would do nothing to your case. But past is past. Lets hope for the better future. GOod Luck.

Just want to update everyone. My brother had his "interview" this morning at the Dhaka USEM. His PD is in Sept 09 and he was current until Jan 1, 2011. They didn't really do anything, except the officer telling him that he has to wait until the PD becomes current and then they will contact him to do the interview. SCREWED by the retrogression harder than anything you can imagine.

This is a good news for us all!!! This means that Feb. visa bulletin will not retrogress anymore because they will not give u an appointment for Feb. 2011 if your priority date is not current by Feb., right? This really brings a new hope and a new beginning this year.... May all our PD be current soon... God Bless us all!!!

hmm well his date is current since the VISA BULLITEN IN IS jan 08. Thats why he got a interview. MY WIFE IS 2008 APRIL, any idea when i will get a INTERVIEW???

every thing was normal i think the problem is my wife apply few times visit visa and get refused so may be they want to make sure every thing clear. but interview was fine. my wife mention looks like he doing his work and asking normal Q. she asked officer do u need any info or doc. officer say no just wait for AP.

he return all orignal doc , took fingerprint . get sign ds 230, took police report , medicals , give token to pick passport from american Express and give green paper for AP

i dont know good news or bad news but today my wife went for interview and embassy put her on AP with token and green paper but keep the passport

strange that they put her on Ap.???? If they kept here passport maybe that is good news and u will get ur visa soon.

Just called NVC @ 6:30 pm CT. The operater said they have finished the visa interview for January 2011. And also ..... Due to limited capacity at US embassy, ISL they are unable to schedule my interview for January 2011. Call us on 2nd week of Jan 11 for the updates on your case.

A VISA ALLOTMENT or number is assigned between the case compelete and interview stage. if a visa # is assigned an interview will be scheduled as the immigrant now has a visa to enter the USA

so u r saying that they only complete the case at the NVC once the VIsa is availible. So i guess i am in the clear.. :thumbs: :no: :no:

I don't think its an error because at the end of the bulletin it does state that retrogression of the categories was necessary because of the demand for visas, so i guess we are back to the three year wait.

I think you should call NVC and find out
