Congratulations!

Schedule of interview dates is solely determined by the consulate. Check the timelines for the relevant consulate for an idea.

if i interpreted it wrong i apologize. but given the way it was written
and also based on the OP's post about divorcing his wife to marry this woman, things could have easily
been misconstrued. so again my apology.
No worries. I know you meant well.
-
Not that i'm againt you, but law is the law and you have to respect that. And again you never know if when you sent it to Vermont service center you got approved, God is on your side so dont stop just keep on praying. just be honest with them and tell them the truth. Good luck and keep me posted.
Are you sure you replied to the right thread?

It is a little more difficult to establish an ongoing relationship when you have known each other for less time, but there is no requirement for a specific number of months. As long as you met in person at least once in the past 2 years, you are in.
The correspondence you share makes a lot of difference even if the relationship is relatively young. I am an example of that. Phone calls, emails, chats, money transfers, and visits will suffice.

if you do not have anything good to say please keep your opinion to your self!
why would you make such a statement. this site is for us to all help each other
not, judge or try to put people in there "places" you do not know the circumstances
of the OP's life, so why not answer the questions if you can. or just shut the hell
up!!!!
Take it easy and learn from Married2009!

Um, I think they were speaking about bad karma on her, and wished him the best.
Thank you for your matured understanding!
-
Well at least for now, can remove that green card stapled to his forehead, and move without informing the USCIS. And perhaps get to carry two passports instead of just one.
-
More like a divorce paper with the USCIS. That is a damned good reason to celebrate.
Hope he does not burn that bridge behind him as he is probably not done with the USCIS yet. K-1, spousal, or family based visas will take him back

Yes,
It is actually an page that is sent to the Embassy after you have completed all of the info that they ask for.... do you think that they delete them?
Just so you can confirm, I have attached a link. Other Venezuelans would best tell you more about the consulate

Thanks for those fast replies. Now she feels better and is more at ease. I don't see any reason in having her worry so much cause all worry does is causes ulcers and grey hairs, Lord knows that the kids do that to us eventually.
You forgot Headaches-Migraines and Heartaches!

Karma really is a b*tch! I see you've already been given some good directions. I wish you well.
-
I have posted here before and have asked the question of emails to the Embassy.... What happens to them, do you think that they just delete them or maybe it is in cyberspace perhaps... I have emailed then 5 times and no response.... and when I call, they say, send it again.... Don't they keep them or not?
Maybe they are inundated with emails and I can appreciate that BUT if they aren't gonna reply then why have the option?
Have you made sure you have the correct email address?

My fiance is worried to death now that she won't be approved her K-1 visa. She went for her medical today and a woman there getting a medical done also told her that they won't approve her because we have only known each other for 8 months and you have to know each other for at least 2 years before they will give you the visa. Now she wants me to ask in here even after I've told her that is all hogwash, so would someone please verify that time has no concept here.
You are correct! It does not really matter how long you have know each other, you just have to have visited within the last 2 years.
-
There is no correlation between number of touches and approval time. A case could be touched a million times before an approval while another gets touched only a couple of times before an approval.

The above links are invaluable. As already stated, G 325A.

You should check the Immigration Timelines above on the "Home bar" to get an idea of timelines. Welcome to the queue.

Well, I got the email today. His interview is scheduled May 13. It is on a Friday, I thought they were closed on Friday's. If so, what should I do?
Congrats and I wish him good luck at the interview.

Refreshing to hear. Congrats!!!

Congrats on your timely approval!

It means she should do just what she's doing...trust God. She seems to be doing a good job of that.
