I am going to write a letter to Santa asking him for a NOA 2 from CSC as my Christmas present.
-
Hola,
Como sigues? Ya decidiste como van a proceder? Mis mejores deseos estan con ustedes :-)
-
I hope your interview went well. Looking forward to hearing the (hopefully) good news!
-
Hi, welcome to the journey and congratulations on your marriage. Yes, we are both on the "Dominican boat" :-)

California Service Center (CSC): DAME LUZ!

Que es lo que es?! K lo k?!

Hi! I like your picture. I have good friends from Kenya, nice people. Great food, too!
-
Great. So you have really not known him for long either, and I thought I was the unica loca with the short engagement I hope to see some of those northern areas (Luperon, Cabarete, Maimon, Santiago, etc.) during my upcoming vacation.
-
How did you meet your fiance? I met mine in early summer during my first visit to the DR. I went back about 2 months later for 17 days! I am SO looking forward to going back. I just simply love him and the country, the culture, the food, and the MUSIC and DANCING!
-
My fiance is actually from a town north of Santo Domingo called Villa Altagracia. The town is famous for that Sergio Vargas, a very famous merenguero, was born there. I have actually been introduced to him and he is very cool. It is a small and friendly town with too many pasolas zooming about day and night.
-
So, I asked my fiance about Imbert and he knew about the town. When I take the guagua from Puerto Plata to Santo Domingo I'll keep my eyes open to see your sweetie's town

Hi! Thank you for adding me as a friend. I hope your upcoming interview goes well. Are you both planning to be present? I am looking forward to hearing about your experience. Best wishes!
-
Cool! So you will get to be with your sweetie before me. Enjoy! Yeah, the Texaco, you know them Dominicans and their pasolas here, pasolas there, pasolas everywhere! I think of the Mad Max movie when I am there sometimes...
-
Never heard of Imbert, but I have not yet been to the northern part of the country. I am planning on visiting for new year's and we're going to Puerto Plata first followed by a quick visit to his hometown and Punta Cana. How about you? Are you planning on going back any time soon?
-
Hi! I think many of us, VJ members, have the same problem; we know the wait in lengthy, yet we log in and read up some more on the process... My fiance works in Punta Cana, but his hometown is about an hour north of Santo Domingo. Where is your husband from?
-
Yes, it will be good to look at our timelines as comparison points. Yes, my plan is also to send my future husband to work as soon as possible! The immigration process is NOT cheap, nor is it made for impatient people. Best wishes and let's keep in touch!

Hola! Welcome to the waiting game! We shall see who was better of (marrying vs. engaged)...
-
Chills? MMmmmhhh... Yay? In your picture you, too, look rather happy and are receiving a kiss. Love is awesome!

It is so nice to find other couples who also found love while vacationing in an island paradise! I hope you can be together soon!
