Embassy review completed! I hope it is helpful for those of you who have interviews coming up at Santo Domingo!

Hey! I gave Amanda your greetings from the time we were outside waiting to enter this morning because it turns our that my fiance had met her fiance at the Embassy the other day. So, we sat together for a while and after we were approved we went to talk to them. Tell them congratulations both from both of us! I am happy to know we were both approved :-)

I am very proud of the organization of my files for the interview. I was more careful and organized with these papers/evidence than with anything else during my whole life! It must be love! :-)

Thanks! I am excited, bur right now mostly stressed and worried. Once my fiance is approved I will be able to fully breathe again...

Immigration processes should have a warning: Do not pursue if you have a heart condition as the stress caused by the process may cause you to experience a heart attack or stroke!

I hope things went well after your second day at the embassy...

So much to do and so little time... This process is TOO stressful!

Why do you need to return???

Is it because the medical exam results are not ready? That does not make sense though because they will not be ready by tomorrow either...

I am glad you were proactive and followed-up in your case. Had it not been for my calling the visa specialist daily we would not have found out the interview date since neither one of us received a packet or letter to inform us of the interview...

Packet picked up at embassy. Tomorrow morning, bright and early, my fiance will go to the Consultorios de Visa for his medical exam.

Hi! You have good eyes and photographic memory to recognize my fiance in line today. He was so surprised! It was funny. I told him, "ten mucho cuidado de lo que andas haciendo porque te tengo bien vigilado" LOL!

My fiance will pick up his packet from the American embassy tomorrow afternoon. Do not trust INPOSDOM! (Instituto Postal Dominicano)

Hi Johnny! How have you been? I saw that you posted in the K1 forum and I remember you and your story. I hope you are doing well!

The 129 F instructions say that if you have filed two or more petitions in the past you have to file a waiver. The instructions also explain that this request of a waiver is merely an explanation of the circumstances of the other petitions (sort of like the explanation that you have already given here). However, you have already sent in your petition so I imagine you would get a RFE asking for ...
