WOW! Six months already! Great! Congratulations on getting the news of your BOY. How exciting! Actually my man flew in to NYC yesterday, but he is now visiting his family in PA. Hopefully your wife will receive her cards soon. My husband's greencard was approved in record time. He actually received it before he received his EAD! Good luck and blessing to your family :-)

My honey is leaving tomorrow to visit his mother and sister in another state for 3 weeks. While I am happy for the fact he will see his family, I am sad to think of being without him for so long. I guess I am feeling a bit down...

We received in the mail today the notice of approval of his permanent residence and his EAD card. Mmmhhh... We got this AFTER we received the actual permanent resident card. This is really not the order these things are supposed to happen, but I am glad they have happened!

Today is my birthday. In the mail I found an envelope with a permanent resident card inside.

Today I got an e-mail informing me that the EAD card is in production. Last week I received an e-mail that said that the residence card was in production. How does this order make sense?

USCIS status changed to "card in production." Faster than I had anticipated and with no interview!

My man is SUPER cold in the mornings now. He is layering, wearing a winter coat, wearing a hat, etc. He is so cold he trembles. Poor thing. He has NO IDEA of what is coming...

My husband had his biometrics appointment yesterday. We arrived early (we crossed time zones to get to the support center), but he was taken in right away and was done in a matter of minutes. What wasn't so easy was getting there; city construction and wrong GPS direction! However, we made it!
