Sounds like maybe he didn't mention your relationship in his student visa but the dates on the spousal one show that he did indeed have a relationship with you while applying for a student visa. How long did he wait after the student visa was denied to apply for a spousal visa? Possibly there is something he's not telling you. Why is he getting all these denials? Maybe they can't approve everyone so because he has a little something that could be called a red flag they are going to use that. That is what I got from your post.

Yes! I agree I am probably biased and would look at it different if it were a man who went awall, but hear me out...We need to know more of why the marriage fell apart in 3 months. Having 3 cousins married to Americans close by, she should know the ropes and know that she is making it very hard for her to get GC by leaving this way. How can going back to the Philipines be better than putting up with marriage for a few years? UNLESS IT WOULD BE TO THIS GUY. It sounds like she's between a rock and a hard place. Why have the cousins not been in touch with him? Wouldn't they try and get her to go home and help the husband get her back? Unless something is wrong. All the other philipino wives in this story are staying married 2 their American man, why is she not joining the crowd? Why is she running away?

Hi I wanted to post because we are the same age ect. Honestly from your post the words young and inexpeirenced came 2 mind. Not anything that is unfixable. My husband hates shut up or name calling. To me it wasn't that big of a deal because I done it all my life when arguing. I had to change that behavior though because I saw his point and want to make the best of our relationship. It's not easy to change something you've done your whole life. I think compromise is so important. I think you're feelings are hurt because he's not calling you, but maybe it's just becuase he doesn't associate calling you with a good experience since you guys have been arguing so much. Things are very stressful in this process plus adding the other factors of being pregnat ect. I really think you guys can work it out. Sometimes we can sabatoge our happiness out of fear. Maybe the fear he will leave you or the fear that you made a mistake. Really listen to each other. I really just think he said that about a women's place and him takin the baby out of heated arguing. Not out of anything rational or real. If you want to message me and just chat plz do. It's always good to have a friend who's been thru the process Sending happiness and good vybz your way

Sorry but I myself am a survivor of domestic violence. I now have the confidence and self love I need today to not let it happen to me again. It wasn't my fault I was being abused but it was my choice to let it continue. I took my power back and so can anyone who's been abused. the reason I posted is because i have first hand experience with abuse and am living proof you can overcome. It helped me to not think of myself as a poor victim. I knew something was wrong when it started with a push, and that's when I should have put my foot down. So I'm saying to anyone and I believe this with my heart....If the signs are there don't ignore them!!! You are worth more than that.

This person is terrible at impersonating a Russian. This person forgets we LIVE with Russians, live with a Russian that teaches English, have gone through the process of having a wife and two children, native Russian speakers, immigrate into our household and get education here. Lived in the FSU and did business there. This is just too much.
NOTHING is consistent with my experience with Russian speakers learning English. In two years at age 25? With NO schooling? Next time choose to impersonate a Canadian or something, some other native English speaker.

I havn't been on this website in so long. When I can remember going on this site mutiple times a day for a year while going through the k-1 process. I'm very thankful my husband Nattoy made it to this country and has been a better man for me than I could have ever imagined. He got a great job and mine is ok for now. We started out living with friends and now have our own apartment and continue to build our lives together. Things are not always easy as I had to be patient with him as he relied on me to show him the ropes. Sometimes I would get upset that he didn't know something. LOL Which is why I learned to be patient and understanding to someone in America for the first time. He is very smart and has come a long way. We even argued quit a bit after about 8 months of him being here, married life is a whole different ball game, but learning and growing in our relationship has brought us to a point where we treat each other respectfully for the most part. We have both givin each other many lessons and a richer life. I feel the love he has for me and am very greatful. Without this website I wouldn't have beable to do it. We will be married a year April 30th. I feel I've found a diamond in the rough:) Maybe some kids in a few years :)
For anyone affraid in the process,if your willing to do the work, and your motives are good and right, God will take care of the rest.

A lady from the embassy called Natoy and told him she was emailing packet 3. In her email she said to send in DS-156, DS-156k, DS-157, DS-230. THAT IS WRONG!! You are to only send in DS-230pt. 1 for and interview date.
Natoy then went and applied for a non-impediment to show he has never been married. Runs around 8,000JA.
After we sent in the DS-230pt1 there was another problem becuase in the email it also told us to send to Monroe RD. NO WE WERE TO SEND IT TO OLD HOPE RD. So Nattoy went and filled out another DS-230 and sent it to the right address.
Then a week went by and still no packet 4. So Nattoy emailed kingstonivinfo@state.gov. He put are case number on the subject line which will get you a faster response. Then BAM!!! 10 minutes later they emialed us packet 4!!!!!

So now Nattoy has everything he needs for his interview. Except the medical and police certificate. He is going to kingston 2maro to get his police certificate and fingerprints which will cost around 4,000 JA. He has scheduled a medical which will cost 100US at the door and aroud 50us for each additional shots he may need. Which shouldn't be much becuase he has his past vaccination records.
Closer to the interview he will get the passport pics he needs and I also sent him 5 passport pics just incase. He will also pay his visa fees at the apprpriate bank. I sent him everything he needs from me so I think after he gets police certificate and medical and pays fees we will be good to GO:) Hope this has helped.

Don't you think that by stating "I was married during this trip and my ex-husband paid for these trips, he has chosen to not share the financial information with me." it would denote that she refuses to give them the information requested? I think this will ruin her case totally! Because first and foremost why on Earth was she there in the first place? She will continue to be scrutinized if she tells them all of that.

There's really no way around it, you really need to go the Philippines. Of course to fullfil the K1 requirement and the requirement of Love/Life of really getting to know the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. You need to make sure that she is the real deal. I know the economy is tough, but don't make it an excuse to not be able to get to the Philippines. Whatever your doing for a living may not work well in this economy, You need to adapt to the way things are changing here in the US. Maybe your tied down by your bills. Find a way to cut out and get rid of some of those bills by making sacrafices with some of the accessories you don't need in life. If you really want to make your fantasy become a reality, then do what you have to do to get the job done. When I go to visit my fiance in the Philippines it costs me about 5,000 to 6,000 dollars for an entire month. And that's living really good there for the month. I usually leave with at least 1,000 in my pocket. Everything is fairly cheap there. And if you go there for a week or two you really wouldn't need that much money.
Immigration is a long drawn out and difficult process. Don't waist your time trying to get a tourist visa. Just go to the Philippines then when you come back fill out the K-1 petition. It's best to not try beat around the bush with immigration because it will bite you in the a$$. Read up and study the process in great detail and make sure that you and your fiance meet all of the requirements. Also figure out all of the monetary costs associated with the process. Good Lucj to you and your Fiance. I hope things work out. Take care.

I read your story and the replies. Then I read the link with your previous inquiry. I also think that it sounds like marriage fraud, unfortunately. You guys may be in love and very genuine, but your actions prove otherwise... at least in the eyes of the CO and the US government. Less is more, sometimes. And the answers given must be concrete and sincere.
I am 7 years older than my fiancee and we're from different religions. One of the first things I did to build my k-1 packet was ask my parents for a notarized letter stating that they accept my relationship with Karim. My fiancee did the same, not only from his mother, but also his sister. USCIS may not read these letters at this stage, but they're there, in the packet. So, the CO will know from the beginning what's up. We also asked our families to keep copies of their email correspondences and even USPS receipts, because they have exchanged gifts through regular mail. It is imperative to have your parents/ family establish a "long distance relationship" with your fiancee's parents/ family. We will ask for notarized letters later on too; just like the letter of intent. I may be wasting my time; we may be overly proactive, but we do not want to leave any stone unturned.
That's the proof they're probably asking for, since the dubious answer about family acceptance opened a can of worms. So, please check why you were denied. Then analyze how to address that situation and then work on providing more proof of a bonafide relationship.
Good luck to you and God bless.

For some incouragement; If the one you love doesn't end up able to come to the US for whatever reason, know that what you have accomplished wasn't in vain! You have learned so much and was able to share some of yourself with a person you love and loves you in return. Good things that you do will be remembered forever. When you feel like you just can't take it anymore, take some time regroup and know that you can do anything you put your mind 2 with style and grace. If you must speak your mind to them by all means do so. It's freedom of speech and America was also built on that right, but until your journy is over I wouldn't say who you are. They might blacklist ya I hope this has helped you in some way becuase that is what we are supposed to do for one another.
