  1. I think the Embassy have had my DS2001 for 11 days now. I've called DoS twice, and the last time I called he said no interview yet, but I eventually got out of him that there's a note to say they have my medical results (but no note to say they have my DS-2001 form)...

    We're in a similar position

They've had our packet 3 forms for 8 days, and the medical stuff for about 2 and have logged the medical stuff today, but not the rest yet. But from what I've heard they might not do the other until after they recieve you medical details, but i think that only applies to K1's

  2. They don't need 'medical records' they need 'vaccination history'

My doctors gave me a little book like you'd give to a child when they have their pre-school jabs done, this was fine.

But yes, you need the police certificate for the medical, they'll ask if you have it yet when you ring up to book the medical.

  3. Had my medical today, all went okay

I've got to have my MMR booster before I do AOS and get some sort of print out to prove I've got that

I'm not sure if my doctors actually do a proper print out, I know they weren't very fourth coming with evidence when I got my injections done before the medical.

However, has the price of the medical changed? I had to pay £210

  4. Until it arrives at the NVC they don't care how long you've been waiting. It remains the USCIS's problem and they won't raise a service request we were told until it's been unaccounted for for three months. Ours was left laying around at CSC for a month, and it was pressure from our congressman that got it moving. If it's not at NVC its almost certainly because the service center haven't sent it yet

    That was our experience anyway.

However, once it did finally make it to the NVC is was processed within 4 days and only took a couple of days to make it to the consulate

  5. If thats true about the MMR thats one less thing to worry about.

As for the tetnus what I've had says Reraxis, Dip, Tct, IPV

So thats Tetnus, Diptheria and Polio

Which means I'm missing the one for whooping cough

Not really much i can do before the medical i guess.

I'll have a read through that other thread, thanks

  6. I was hoping to get all my vaccinations signed off at the medical to make the AOS easier

My doctors can't do a proper vacination record, they've written down what I had today and stamped it, but thats as much as I have to take to the knightsbridge doctors.

Which I assume will be enough for the medical, but I guess for AOS I'll just have to get everything photocopied and bring it to America.

So what is a civil surgeon and how much are they going to ####### rape my wallet to sign stuff off from my records. My records again are a bit of a sorepoint as my childhood vacinations are entirely missing, and from them some stuff is on paper and other stuff on the computer so its a bit of an administrative mess

  7. Got my medical coming up in a couple of weeks so went to my GP to get my injections up to do

I needed chickenpox, tetnus and MMR

As I've already had chickenpox i don't need that one, as far as I know they take your word for that, is this correct?

On the other two, tetnus is no problem, but for the MMR I need two injections, one today and another one can't be for at least a month

Is this going to be a problem for my medical? I can get the second one done after that, but obviously it won't be up to date in two weeks when I have my medical in London

  8. Sometimes USCIS stall, our approved I-129F was at CSC for a month AFTER it was approved. NVC weren't interested as until it's recieved it's not their problem and CSC wouldn't raise a service request until it'd be over due for 90 days. Fortunately our congressman got on the case and it turned up. Once it finally got to NVC it was there about 4 days

  9. 29 days doesn't sound like very much, but the trouble is we weren't prepared for it. We knew the NOA2 would take five months, it took slightly more than that so we're glad we weren't at VSC, although at the begining everyone wished it was the other way around. But from CSC to NVC was supposed to only take 3 weeks at the most, and most people were getting to the consulate within two weeks. But to have the NVC and USCIS both turn around and say they don't know where it is, and don't even care until it's three months, that's hard to deal with.

It comes down to the same thing.... not knowing is the hardest part
