I had a really easy interview. A bit of a wait but not bad. The lady was so sweet, professional! Questions were simple and we actually talk about our kids for a bit since i was her last appointment. My oath is today too. So no need to wait for a letter.

Yeah! I think I did. I wouldn't have once I heard that you got yours in your time frame. But what the hell! I hope I get something in this week as we are reaching holiday weekend (July 4th).
I check everyday... I am having this baby in august, i gues i'll have him without having any news of my status lol... We are in the same boat KLM9971 and am getting tired of waiting...

One of the person in this forum got his approval for RFE. He sent the packet on June 10th. We sent it earlier but no news yet
Ok, so it is getting personal!!!! I am wondering if they want to come to my house and see how did i Created my baby, lol... I am continuing to wait, there is no other choice, at the end of the day, my hubby and I are together and in the most wonderful moment of our lifes, having our first child... hopefully we will get approved before he comes to this world.
BTW maybe they already have a desicion made about us and we just havent receive it in the mail... you never know.

hahah, I am in the same boat as you are. Everyday I am checking my mailbox and every 2 hours checking online status. NO CHANGE
I know both will be approved, but it is such a pain in the b to have to wait!!! lol

Usually the RFE lists specific items that they want. I recommend the tax transcript from your local IRS office, rather than the tax return. Also, you will now be able to include the 2012 transcript as well.
An IRA is an US retirement account. You might have a 401K or 403b? Anyway, it is a way of putting a little money aside for retirement. For any retirement account you name a beneficiary in the case of your death. That could be printed and sent to USCIS
Term life insurance is something I pay $23/month so that if i die in the next 20 years my wife will get $500,000. It is a good idea if you intend to have kids to get life insurance.
I recommend you send
a) tax transcript for joint taxes 2012 (go to your local IRS office).
b) Notarized letters from people that know you. Professionals or a priest are best.
c) Notarized letter from your landlord.
There should be notaries in your area!
Chin up, the USCIS does not deport real marriages - just does not happen!
If you have a TD bank in your area you can go to any branch, they have notary there and is free even if you dont have an account

Oh! Jeeeez...What a mess this is!!! What USCIS wants from us? LOL! I mean, do I need to buy a house or to take a loan in order to show that my marriage is legit? Haha...
We have a house in both or our names, still asking for more evidence!!!!

I was looking up other threads (June/July/August 2012) and what I see is that the max to max it takes up to 1 month to get approved. If not, then be assured that you should apply for citizenship (N-400).
I dont even know if i want to apply for citizenship... but after all this BS i am definately considering

The speaker called my son to do the pledge of allegiance with us, he is six years old, he made me and some of the women there cried... great ceremony!
So grateful I don’t have to come again and I could do the whole interview and oath same day.
