  1. I have never done it for what someone has said, but I have done it a lot of times to report duplicate postings, so that one could be deleted.

I go by the sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me philosophy of life, so I'm not going to rat out someone for calling me a bad word.

Right on. Good philosophy there MDyoung. You jackass. :D

  2. A few more quick questions ...

What is the total cost for the CR1 Visa? Have found that the I-130 petition is US$380, but unclear as to other costs, eg. for the I-894.

Also, the documentary evidence (ie. photo, birth certificates, etc) which we supply for the I-130 petition - is it of the US Citizen (who is the petitioner) or of the person applying for the visa, or for both of us?

This answer is probably somewhere on the website, but running out of time so my apologies if it's already been addressed.

Our Interview is Friday week, 24th February. Will be so glad when all this is OVER!!!!

I can answer this one!! When you go in to the consulate on the day of your interview, you will pay 570 American Dollars. Thats total for filing all of the paperwork and they do it in one fell swipe of the credit card. (Or cash if you prefer)

The information for the I130 is all for the american citizen. The australian citizen files their paperwork with THEIR set of papers that are filled out. You do need photos, make sure that you get at least three taken of each person just in case.

Hope this helps and good luck!! SO long as you have everything in the exact order that they tell you in the instructions and you dont have any of it bound together or in plastic sleeves, you will have a VERY easy time!

Look at the pro! You go girl, now you can answer all the questions! I'm old in terms of dcf now anyways.

  3. The Command Fart - This fart differs from the Anticipated Fart in that it can be held for long periods of time waiting for the right moment. Unlike the Anticipated Fart, it is intended to be noticed. Harold Tabor recently held a Command Fart for the whole period in history class and let it go right at the end when the teacher asked if there were any questions.

My dog had one of these the other night. My honey and I were playing with her, and she was having a blast. Then we stopped and started to have a small conversation, and Aspen (dog) let out a fart. It was so hillarious, I don't know if you've ever heard a dog fart or not, but it was unmistakeable. And after that we laughed and played with her some more, hence my reasoning that it was a commander.

  5. I don't know all the intricacies but if you click Quote then Reply right next to it, it will have the quoted text in the field where you type your reply. You can then alter it, or type above/below it.

Well I just used the reply option so let's see what it does.

Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with quote...when you hit reply alone, it quotes for you. LIke this one. Just remember to click the reply button on the bottom of the post not the top, unlike the old forum.

  6. Yeah. Folks in Pakistan apparently also are in dire need of some lessons on what belongs where. As of late, they burned down a KFC (again), good ole' Ronald McD (as shown on the picture), attacked a Citibank and a Pizza Hut. All that allegedly because of what a Danish newspaper published. Yet, these businesses are not Danish. Hell, they don't even so much as sell a Danish in any of these businesses.

McDonalds used to sell danishes. They were cheese danishes, and they were delicious. Ooh maybe apple ones too.

  8. Sorry mate. Take a quick five minute break from whatever it is you do. I think I'm gonna go get a cookie. This post is totally irrelevant to everything in life.

Nope. All mine. Unless you become a customer of my bank, then you can have free cookies every day.

  9. Hello all,

My fiancée and I are trying to decide if it would be faster overall for us to go the K1 route and then get married as soon as she enters the country and then file for AOS and EAD and what-not, or if we should just get married and file for the I130. We understand that the K1 will get her physically here faster, but then we would have to file more paperwork so she can work, whereas with the I130 she can work immediately upon entering. So if we marry immediately after she enters on a K1 and we file for the EAD, will the timeline overall be shorter or longer than just getting married and filing for the I130?

Oh yeah, she lives in Montreal, Canada and I live in Tennessee. I'll be filing in Texas. I appreciate any info anyone can provide us.

Do DCF it's fast. It involves the I130, but you file at the embassy in Canada. I think you can dcf in Canada...best check that first. Some embassies don't allow it.
