Hey ladies, missing you too. We're going back to Oz probably around October 2007. Maybe later. Good stuff. Maybe I'll start job hunting...ha. Not yet.
-
Congrats! I too like to disappear and make people miss me. Is it working?
-
Awesome. Cats are mean. Why I have one now, I have no clue. Oh yeah, I got married.
-
I'm so mad that they've moved polls. Or whatever we are talking about.
-
Awww the memories. Hi everyone. Bye everyone.

What is the difference between an IMAC and an IBOOK. Are they the same? I saw a girl in the airport with one in the CUTEST carryiong case. It's small and cute and I really want one.
Imac is desktop, books are your laptops. I got last year's version of an Imac, which means it doesn't have an Intel chip, but that's ok with me...not enough software out there yet for the Intel Imac.
And sorry Laura and Ian for hijacking your thread. It was inevitable.

I think I just got tired of the same stuff.
OK well, lots has changed here. We now have 1945 trolls instead of 1835.
Good to see most of the same fun people. Is Arijit still around? I need to catch up on whatever news there is out there that I haven't seen on cnn.

Hi! Yeah I took a hiatus. I think I just got tired of the same stuff. Anyways, nothing too exciting to report, marriage is good, went to Colorado, they still have big hills out there. Bought an Imac, it rocks, my dog has a slight limp right now, and I still have my same job. There now, you're all caught up. Have I missed anything exciting? It was that silly 'thank you to all visajourney members' email from Ewok that brought me back here. I need to do a little bit of research as well.
Those iMac commercials are awesome! B) Does it still only have one mouse button though?
Yeah one button, but I'm already finding my finger glued to the control key on the keyboard, you hold that down and press the one button and walla, there's your right click info. It's gonna take some time getting used to it though. I have no clue how to find a word in an article. As in control F (find).

Same old stuff huh?

Nothing too exciting, had huge storms over the weekend, and of course I put up a nice gazebo the day before....so it's trashed now. That's how the cookie crumbles I guess. All is well otherwise, my aussie spouse can't believe that we don't get good friday off here at my bank, it's kinda funny. I wish the USA had time off like the rest of the world. OH well. Only 4 or so more years til I defect. Ha.

Oh it'll be fine, no worries. Job hunting can be strenous, but if you keep an open mind it will hopefully be fine. If nothing else, get him a job at a hardware store so you can get discounts for a few months on things for your home. Or perhaps a decent clothing retail store, so he can get you a discount on your new summer wardrobe. That's what Natalia did for a few months....discount at JCPenny. Then she eventually got a 'real' job.

Yes! One horrendous flight over, one not so horrendous to go. When's touchdown in Florida?

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. This had be gripping my seat for a minute, even though I already knew you were approved from other threads. It was almost like a mystery novel. With a fantastic ending!
Congrats again and again and again. Welcome to happiness.

Whoa been a while for me, congrats big time! Glad to hear it all went well, I need to go find that aussie thread and catch up!
Welcome home.

The World Baseball Classic will be interesting as well. Started already with the games in Japan, today the rest of the games start. It's too bad they couldn't find a better time for the event. Spring training is messed up now.
-
St. Louis Cardinals...your 2006 World Series Champions.
Cubs suck.
-
Come on now, get your act together! To be honest I don't remember. Not more than two each though.

When people started doing it?When did dildoing become a verb???But there's no such thing as 'dildoing'. There's 'using' one. Why doesn't he say razoring when talking about body hair? This word is not acceptable and I am striking it from my memory as of right now.
What were we talking about?
Help me out!

Hi gang, been ages and I now am here because I find myself in a predicament. Not a bad one, just want to verify what I've read.
We have filed our 751 on August 17, no word from uscis yet at all, check not cashed either. The fun part? We leave for Australia in 7 days for a month. We come back October 24 or so, and the expiration of the green card is Oct. 30. As you can see, I didn't forsee any issues of waiting for the uscis (my fault) when I planned this trip. Now, here's the part I'd like to confirm...I've read that when you get your accepted letter, it says you have a year which you can continue to work and live in America, is this true? Biometrics, if they tell me a date while we are gone, can be rescheduled from what I've read, so I just want to be sure that once it's accepted, my wife will be fine for a year as it continues it's processing. Thanks for your time and I hope you are all well...
