I had the same issue and I called them last week to get it fixed. However, another person also had the same issue and was told to not worry about it as USCIS had the middle name of the spouse in their database.

hi no problem this is normal in america they use first and last name which is very common in america in other word this name change position is called( AMERICAN STYLE) i had same issue when i confirm to uscis they told me your middel name save is in our data base

Hi All,

I am a little confused by the I-864a form because my wife's mother is going to use her assets to help her sponsor me 9i.e. come in as HOUSEHOLD MEMBER). However her mother is married and files a joint tax return (I think) with her husband.

Therefore, should they both be listed in the family household on the original i-864 and both separately file an individual i-864a? Or can she just do this on her own. All her assets I imagine are shared with her husband.

Sorry about these questions - I read the guides, but this is unusual territory.

hi mikeboy If your mother in law lives separately from your wife, then he files an I-864

Your wife files an I-864, even though she doesn't qualify financially in other word dosent matter if your wife income is zero

Your father in law, if he lives apart from your wife, will file a separate I-864. If your father in law's income is not enough, then he can use his wife's income by having HER fill out an I-864A as a contributing household member to his I-864.

first one is the section in the G325a form,on the very bottom that says:"this form is submittet in connection with an aplication for..." ?? do we have to put permanent resident or other /I-130 form?And how many forms each do we need?

So what do I put in the wife/husband sections of the form G-325a? "NONE" or "NOT APPLICABLE"?

In the employment section, do I put something like "Middle school student"?

In the section for the kid's father - Do I put "UNKNOWN" in each field on that line, or only in the first field for the surname?

I am completing the G-325a forms for my wife and step-son and have several questions. I hope someone here would be able to help me.

1. The father for the kid was never known. The kid's birth certificate shows a dash line in the place for the father. The mother was not married at the time of the kid's birth. So, what do I put in the G-325a form for the kid where it asks for the father information?

2. What do I put in the Wife/Husband, and the Employment areas of the G-325a for the kid?

In case that is relevant, my wife and step-son reside abroad and I am in the process of bringing them to the US.

Not sure computer network administration is high risk, who knows, they didnt even look at the cv that they requested at the first interview(btw he had it with him then and gave it to them) and they stressed very heavily before second interview on phone to bring the cv,, for what, they didnt touch it

I'm a USC and married my husband after he was deported back to India (all in 2008). We have been together since 2007 and have 1 daughter together. I filed our I-130 Jan 2010. Got the receipt 2 weeks later. Now we are just waiting on interveiw date. Does anyone know how long this will take? Also once I have my interview how long does it take for his interview in India? hi mytruelove08 you got your NOA2 or not because us immigration NOA2 MAXIMUM approval is 5 month and minimum is 2 to 4 month if you got your NOA2 your another processing time is max 4 to 6 month make interview with beneficiary

Well just as hot guy on this forum experienced, my husband was interviewed the second interview today in which the phone call before they stressed to him to bring his cv with him. He was interviewed by 2, an older dark hair american man and the egyptian lady. They both asked him the same questions over and over and over, the guy tried to say we didnt have enough photos when he looked at one of the 4 albums and my husband picked up another album and flipped through describing each thing and the guy said ok ok, he asked how we keep contact, he showed him the huge stack of folders of phone records, and sms.. the guy said all of this??? husband answered yes, so he said give me one, he didnt even open it and handed it back and said ok ok,... the lady said that we need to send the marriage paper they requested during the first interview, my husband said you already have it, she said i need it again is that a problem, he said yes cause you already have it and she said no, and he said yes so the guy looked and found it and said ok we have it.. they asked all the questions from the first interview again and many times. During the interview the guy referred to my baby as my husband son, he told him no i am his step father he is not my child.. the co continued to say his son.. at the end my husband asked if approved or what and the guy laughed just laughed

My husband told him i need to know so i know if i need to find work here or not cause i cant sign a contract to work if i will leave in less than a year, so the guy continued laughing said i need your wife to email me the baby birth certificate and i dont need anything more from you other than your passport, if i need anything from you i will contact you in a few days, if i dont contact you i will send you the passport with the visa in it. Then told him to go pay dhl fee , he did this and then took the reciept to the guy and the guy laughed at him again and said i knew you would be back, what kind of hell remark is that of course he will be back as he has to bring the receipt to him.. and the baby is not his so why in the hell would they want the bc of the baby, i was pregnant when we met and divorced during that pregnancy, and we married after the baby was born... anyway i emailed them the birth certificate and since the birth certificate doesnt have father on it i also sent the paternity test showing the 99.9999% of who the father is. GRRRRRRRRRRRR btw, they didnt even ask for the cv that they stressed so much on the phone to bring

hi vopika some one misguide you if your marriage less than 2 year your status or you are eligible for CR1 VISA if your marriage is more than 2 year you are eligible or your status is ir1. at the time of your visa interview you are eligible for cr1 which is 2 year green card and ir1 is that person who marriage is more than 2 year old this person is eligible for 10 year green card

hi tri_gear when your I-130 is finally approved at uscis level and you got your noa2 then uscis transfer your case to NVC and then you call the NVC give your both email address to NVC after that NVC send you by email both husband and wife DS-3032 and when you accept DS3032 fill the form and return to NVC and then this is the point when NVC send USC AOS bill when USC paid the AOS bill then NVC SEND USC AOS I-864 document to petitioner petitioner is the us citizen when USC fill all document and send back to NVC then NVC generate immigrant visa IV bill this visa bill recieved USC because USC is the agent of beneficiary beneficiary is that person who not belong to usc who belong to another country when USC pay the bill then DS-230 PACKAGE GENERATED and this form belong to beneficiary when beneficiary fill the form with all required document and send back to petitioner and then petitioner return and send all document to NVC and then petitioner wait for few week to case complete when case is complete at the NVC LEVEL then NVC send all document to beneficiary home usa embassy and then beneficiary wait for 10 to 15 days after that embassy send check list to beneficiary and make appointment interview with beneficiary

hi there are many other reasons behind AOS case for example if your brother is previous sponsor or co sponsor other blood relation person like father mother brother sister ext ext if NVC officer saw that your brother is support to many person and is income is not inuf meet povert level and in other hand NVC officer saw that your brother is only person who is only responsible for other family member so in that case NVC officer calculate and cut off equally your brother income and add and divide your brother income for every single member of the family if income is not inuf to support to all family member so only in that case NVC SEND RFE TO OP and your question about transfer they dont transfer because operator dont know which nvc dept take and have your case

hi seko i think you are from pakistan if you dont write your name in urdu language in I-130 form dont worry uscis immigration officer cannot consider and ignore this kind of small mistake and uscis officer cannot send you any RFE. Why we cant checked our status online? is this because we used our status online as evedince? thats why they blocked it? What does it mean "case file is in transit back to VSC? Was our case denied as what USCIS Supervisor Costumer Assistance said? We still dont have a copy for that denial even if we requested it 2 times already.

However, it would probably be best, it may be required, that you use your father as a contributing household member. In which case you show your combined income (and assets, if you show assets) on the I-864 and you and he jointly fill out an I-864A.

hi seko Payment - Pay by check if you can. If you can't pay by check use a money order that you can track when it's cashed. Having a cancelled check or evidence of a cashed money order provides another safety net in case anything goes wrong. Sending in your application - Send your application via the USPS with return receipt requested and delivery confirmation. The last thing you need to be worrying about is whether they received your application or not. You also want to have proof that you filed in case something bad happens like they lose your application. If you have evidence that you submitted it and they screwed up you then have recourse for priority processing if you have to refile.
