how are they gonna pamper me? i'll be bored. at least at home i can eat what i eant, i have internet, netlix, directv, etc.

In terms of helping you look after the baby, once your home thats it, your alone lol i remember i had this overwhealming feeling of ####### what do i do now!?! I'm looking at it as i'll have a couple of days to me, before i'm with my toddler and newborn!

oh and hubby and i signed the lease for the house yesterday, now just waiting on there official closing date!

bleh, i dont want to be in a hospital for 3 days. now i'm thinking about that. it sucks.

Nessa - let them pamper you - you will need it. Nothing feels as good as that first shower the day after. Take it very easy on yourself but I will say this - push through the pain and walk...it will get your body stimulated again.

I agree it's very hard at first with the sleep, and the baby takes awhile before they have their days/night in order. As a newborn especially they seem to sleep through anything, talking, loud noises, etc. I remember trying to keep Kavi awake for pics when he was a couple weeks old and he just couldn't do it, his eyes would fall sleepy in no time and he'd be asleep. Now getting Kavi to fall asleep takes awhile sometimes!! lol

How is Kavi doing with sleeping through the night Stina?

its weird, i've had a section before but it was an emergency so i had no time to think about it, because i know the date of this section, i'm nervous, though trying not to think about it too much

today is the last tuesday of my life that i don't have a child now every day is special in a way. it's the end of an era. BC will be gone and AC will begin.

hubby just finished putting up the bassinet, we ended up getting the Boppy playard one, i really like it the only thing is the attached changing table is a little low

OT ladies, but remmeber i had mentioned hubby and i had seen a lovely house for rent, back in feb, well the family were looking for a house to buy but the one they had wanted fell through, we got the call yesterday that they had put an offer on a house, and then a call this morning to say there offer was accepted!!! hopefully we can move in before the baby is born! we meet up next week to sign the lease and discuss details

Breastfeeding: I wanted it very badly and I am glad it works out. I read about the benefits and was dead-set on it afterwards. We had to work really hard in the beginning but it all worked out and I am very happy.

Our flight to Frankfurt went well in regards to Jona, he slept for 8 hours and played the rest of the time. He was everyone's darling on the plane and kept smiling. The airline however and the flight attendants were rude. We did not get the booked bassinet seat, we were not allowed to board early on (usually families with babies are) and I did not get any assistance with putting my carry-on away. Instead the flight attendants were annoyed by a child and that it took 5 (WOW) minutes to change his diaper in the bathroom (there is only one bathroom on the plane with a changing table). ALl the other mommies were pretty upset about the behavior on the plane as well. I will complain big time back in the US. THis was United Airlines - extremely family unfriendly!

oh god, i used to change Dylan on my lap on the plane on the way to england, those areas in the bathroom are super small, no one complained as i was quick, and also we were never able to board early with our family, seems like you should be able 2

ok back from my appointment. baby is fine,. everything is ok. she said he might be weighing betwen 6.5-7lbs and oh, i lost 2.8 lbs lol. i knew last week i couldn't have gained 4.8. that means that i didn't actually lose weight, but gained 2 lbs in 2 weeks, which is what i should be gaining.

i felt a little weird about breastfeeding, but it didnt work out for me as i didnt produce enough milk, awesome if you can breastfeed, but dont beat yourself up if you cant, i have a happy healthy formula fed 2 year old

has anyone tried the California Baby products? and if so are they any good?

i'm feeling much better ...just a little weak from lack of food yesterday i guess......i cant believe my c-section is schedled for May 11th, i am nervous abot the surgery but excited!

well i just got over throwing up yesterday, ick..Dylan had it all weekend and passed it on to me......so i ate hardly anything yesterday....feeling a little better today

it took us a long time to get to the decision about the tubal, i figured seen as though i'll be open from the section to do it then, we just cant imagine more than 2 children, my hubby came from a large family and hated it, i'm an only child so it works out....May 11th...wow ....my goodness i hope it is a girl and they didnt get it wrong again!!!

Just got back from my Dr appointment, everything is good, they did a none stress test and the baby sounds wonderful. i only gained under a pound so thats good...and my c-section is officially scheduled!!! May 11th at 7.30 in the morning.....scared but ohh so excited.

on a side note i signed papers a few weeks ago to get my tubes tied while they are doing the c-section. Hubby and i talked long and hard and know that 2 kids is our number

Hey Ladies! I'm in the hospital dilating - God willing! All is well. Within the past hour, 7 ladies came in and they all delivered immediately. The nurses here are going nutz!!! Anyone know if it's a full moon tonight?
