  1. YAY Chrissy!! How wonderful! Now you can go and buy all those cute pink things!!!

I miss my family a lot, but honestly, I'm happy with my mom not being too close. She was here for 4 weeks when Ben was born, and that was a huge help. She has tons of advice for me all the time, and it makes me sad that she misses out on a lot. But she can be very difficult to be with sometimes, so I am acutally ok with being here.

well i had mentioned before we had applied and recieved the visa for my hubby to move to UK, but i know i want to stay.....i love my mother but lately all we seem to do is argue, i know once again i will be letting her down hugely and hurting her beyond belief, but ii like living here (which she does not understand!) i want to enjoy this pregnancy but i feel so stressed out, plus we are looking for a house as we currently live in an apartment, but am worried we wont get the loan as my hubbys credit is not great from before we were married.

I'm reaching a point where i cannot be so stressed all the time, it makes me ill. My mother is a wonderful help and i feel i am denying my mother her grandchildren. Its a terrible burden to bear. I love my mother but sometimes our relationship is strained......uhhh sorry for rambling

  2. Wohoooooooooooooo...yey Chrissy :dance::dance: I'm sitting here (um...in my maternity dress btw...mesicko) and clapping my hands.

Congratulations on your little babygirl. I'm so happy for you.

Thankyou soooo much Eveline!!!! i feel so blessed to have a son and a daughter!

  3. @Eveline that's so cute

    when is your u/s, chrissy?

    3PM central, this afternoon

i have a quesion, for all the ladies who moved here from there countrys, do you miss not having your mother around, especially now you have babies?

  4. well we have another ultrasound today to get all the babys measurements...hopefully we can tell the sex!

Yesterday hubby and i went to see My Bloody Valentine 3D, it was a blast, anyone seen it?

  5. so there's this thread in one of the pregnancy boards i'm a member, and ti asks if you're still drinking. here are the results from 300 votes:

Not drinking at all, or at least since learning I'm pregnant - 189 - that's how i believe it should be

an occasional sip - 94 acceptable

    1-3 drinks/week - 15 :o

    3-7 drinks/week - 1 :o :o

    7 or more a week - 1 :o :o :o

seriously if u drink 7 or more drinks a week you have to be an alcoholic. i wonder if those women tell their doctor they're doing that and i hope their children aren't born with FAS

    Is that at Babycenter Nessa?

  6. Hi ladies, congrats Twila on tommorrow! lol best wishes to Kavi, stina

well, i think we are leaning to staying here, we have seen a house we are intrested in and i think we may pursue it. not definate yet. There are 2 many things back in england that i'm glad i left behind

  7. Ladies, i nedd your help. Over the last week i have been really depressed. When i found out i was pregnant hubby and i thought it was a good idea to move back to england for the additional help from my family and such....so we applied for his visa and got it....

well now i'm having serious doubts about moving....i dont know what to do....hubby wanted to move but he said he wants to do what makes me happy...i just feel so bad, but i am so stressed out and on the verge of making myself ill over this....any input?

  8. so that means i'll never sleep. like ever if i have to get up every 2 hours for feeding and every 3 hours for diaper, what if they're not at the same time, i'll be constantly doing something.

Nessa, i had the same worries, it will just come naturally to you. Its like a switch flicks on and you just know what to do for your own child

  9. here's my belly today:

    belly25w016a.jpg

nessa, you look great, the weight is all in the belly which is good! god with Dylan i gained like 60lbs by the end, and at 21 weeks so far i only gained 9! and i'm eating, not great either.....

  10. hi ladies, we got back from NY last Sunday, was fun, but am sooo tired!!! Went to the Docs on mon and over 4 weeks only gained 1lb...awesome!!! we have another ultrasound this month to get all the measurements, and hopefully determine the sex now i am further along

  11. well we are in the beggining of a blizzard warning....the snow just keeps pouring down! we travel tommorrow to stay at a hotel before our flight monday, but i am worried about the weather!

  12. Chrissy@ It's coming down!!!! but I imagine that will clear out by Monday.

When I went for the Fetal anatomy test my baby had her legs crossed and wasn't cooperating but the Dr. made me walk and cough a few times and she finally opened her legs for a little while. Good luck the next time...

Tomorrow we are going to a X-mas party to Westechestert (Cortland Manor) Hubby is changing his mind 'cause they are predictig more snow for tomorrow, not fair, I really want to go!

Nessa@ It's so funny, Hubby thinks just like you, if we were having a boy he was going to teach him soccer and baseball, and encourage him to practice lots of sports (college scholarship) but now that we are having a girl we are not sure I guess we can have a swimmer (like mommy) or a soccer player still :star: .

    I love the decoration!!

    hugs

    Vi

cute new pics on your siggy Vi!!!!

  13. haha, oh my.... I keep my fingers crossed for you for the next ultrasound. What is Dylan thinking about a sibling? Does he understand it yet?

I hope the weather will be better by Monday. There are a few flight cancellations so far, but I bet they will have it fixed by then. We have a foot of snow now! It looks very pretty though.

he understands when i say baby and pat my tummy, but dosent really comprehend yet....he says baby too and will pat my belly....2 cute! i cant wait to see snow in NY, it'll be awesome

  14. i'm leaning towards a girl but after having the sex wrongly diagnosed when i was pregnant with Dylan, i'm taking things with a pinch of salt.....btw is it snowing in NY?

really? They wrongly diagnosed the sex?? I've seen a premature baby at 24 weeks and I couldn't tell whether boy or girl, so I see how that could happen during ultrasound. But it's rare. When did you find out Dylan was a boy?

Yes it's snowing like crazy today. We just got 8 inches within the past couple hours.

We live in Westchester but I hear it's the same in the city. When is your trip again?

We fly out this coming monday and stay till sunday! we are getting pounded with snow here in MN.

well towards the end of my pregnancy with Dylan i had some complications (bleeding) i was 7 months...th;ats when we saw the "extra leg" lol but i go to see the Doc on the 29th of this month, so he should be scheduling me for another U/S at about 24 weeks

  15. well i had the ultrasound yesterday, and the baby was been a stinker! lol legs crossed in the indian position, so couldent see the sex.....plus at one point its face was facing my spine, completly away from the camera, then it turned and looked.....she got a glimpse between the legs and said she thought it was a GIRL!!! but not 100% sure, so in about a month i'll have another ultrasound as the baby was scrunched up so she couldent get all the measurements. Hopefully we'll know for sure the sex then

  16. The ultrasound was today. We are having a boy! I got to see it kicking and eating. Was pretty cool. I'll post some pics later.

aww congrats Eric, boys are awesome!!! We have our ultrasound tommorrow..soo excited!
