For my hubby's own, we didnt have a joint back acct, but had other stuff like affidavits from my folks, joint credit card, taxes, joint phone bills, and highlighted the calls between each other back and forth, mails to our addresses, pictures of trips together, incl one family one at my sister's graduation, car insurance listing both of us.

My personal bank acct goes to our own address.

We didnt submit Driver's license, have wills, 401ks, health insurance, among many other things.

Submit what you can, but dont make up something just to turn it in, if your marriage is legit, you will be fine.

We got approved and we have 2 diff state DLs with diff addresses even!!! All because I was shuttling back and forth and never changed. We didnt submit it, had other evidence to show.

Just to let folks know we got approved even though I never found my husband's case online. So dont worry if you dont see anything.

Phone bill, if you have a joint cell phone account. We sent in a few months worth, and highlighted calls made to each others numbers. We figured calling some one, so much, and having extensive conversations, can only be faked for so long.

If we got an RFE, I'd highlight the ones between my hubby and my parents, since they treat him like they treat me, and like to call him and have Looooooong convos.

I hope you have access to the documents needed, like financial stuff, and evidence you will need, since you already left the house?

Maybe you can get letters from family members, who can vouch that the marriage was "for real"

Sorry cant help, but I agree, file for a divorce, and use the filing receipt to file the ROC.

No, I would wait for the actual card to come in. If you apply now, you should be able to get it soon, maybe end of the month.

You dont want to send a copy of one of those temp paper ID that they normally issue. That will defeat the whole purpose.

I would definitely go get a State ID too, if he can, should take a few weeks.

Also have a detailed affidavit from your mother, explaining it all.

Any form of financial transactions between the both of you

I'd even send call history from cell plan highlighting calls between both of you.

Ok just trying to throw some stuff out there, some may seem off the wall, but it cant hurt.

--Mail sent to both of you, maybe cards or other important mail sent to your address?

--I know you said not to ask about affidavits but SURELY there is someone you can get 1 from, a friend, fam member or something?? It seems like it would really help here big time.

--Phone records, maybe if you have diff cell phone numbers, you can highlight your calls to each other.

--If you have been to the doctor, you can see if you can get a copy of the form you filled showing person to contact for emergency?

--For car registration, if you go to your local DMV/Sec of state, you can always get a copy, easy to get done.

--Letter stating your in school status, and him being unemployed.

--Maybe letters or emails between you guys and family members?

--Any cards sent between both of you for anniversaries, birthdays or holidays?

--Of course like you stated MORE bank statements, or maybe any financial transactions between you both, whether it is online via say paypal or something.

pot121, you are going to have an issue, either now or even when trying to file for naturalization.

GC is from date of interview (if done in the US through AOS), or GC is from date of entry (through POE)

We got married Nov 2009, and hubby was outside the country, his GC is dated from date of entry, Aug 8, 2010!! Thats 9mths after marriage! If you check on here, NO ONE has theirs dated from the date of marriage!

When you got GC, you were supposed to verify that all was set on it. My hubby's own had the wrong DOB initially, and we had to send it back to get it changed. You always send everything with tracking and signature confirmation.

This IO has only sunk you into deeper trouble!

Dont sign anything period!! You dont owe him that! Donrt jeopardize your GC by doing that.

Get a lawyer and you can file ROC on your own, with police evidence and all.

You cant just terminate Affidavit of Support anyway, thats between him and the govt.

You were married for a year but only lasted a month in the US, and then shortly after met and married someone else.

No one will be able to help you unless you give more details. You didnt state what led to the breakdown, or how long you were separated before a divorce, or who initiated it. Why you got married so soon after? If you are denied, I dont see how your H1 new husband will be able to file for you at all.

Right now you need a lawyer, though I dont see what they can do though. Basically if your marriage only lasted a month, then when you entered, you had your conditional GC for barely a month... Good luck!

I wonder though, you let your status expire and when you applied late, you still asked for a fee waiver, yet you are on here eager to travel to visit family in England. So you cant pay to get your card processed despite the urgency, but can get a plane ticket?

Another Jul 13 interview approval from Dublin!!

Very straight forward, they asked him how we met, commented as to how we got engaged quickly, it was more of a conversation, nothing difficult in any way. The lady asked if he had pictures, and he showed her a few (he only took 7 with him), including pics of our big wedding ceremony we had after our court wedding. Dublin is more into paperwork. We were missing an original doc, so they gave him a white slip. I sent it from here, took 2 days by USPS/fedex to the Dublin Consulate. the next day, they mailed everything back to hubby including the stamp!

To those going through Dublin, the envelope size you need to bring is 12 by 14!!!We didnt know that, just found out on here that you need an envelop, but noone had the definite size. My husband had to run all over Dublin right after his interview to find it, and come back and turn it in to the embassy before they closed at 4pm!

We are set!! so cant wait!! My husband scanned his passport with the stamp, and the letter they put in there welcoming him to the US. The sealed envelope was also in the 12 by 14 envelope, and in a few wks POE! So thankful!! God is good!!!

If USCIS thought it was a problem, they wouldnt have issued another F1 visa. I'm sure its there on his records that he is married, and they see that it is a US citizen. If he was denied entry back with this new visa, I cant see how it is a problem. I'm sure they'll tell them to go ahead and file AOS (I-485), makes no sense to go the NVC route.

better still, do a court wedding, and then fly out to do the beach ceremony!! You can even fly out same day or the next day!

how long after interview date before you got packet 3. Its been 2wks since we got a date assigned but nothing in the mail regarding packet 3. Also pls what doctors are listed, can you pls let me know.

You can write to them... but the update proccess is very slow in those days.... I would call an talk to an operator and ask if he able to make the change.....

When I use to call most of the time he confirm the address (in my case)........

Hello everyone! Things are moving fast, got the email from NVC in 2days after giving them email addresses!

I've a question, how do I go about changing the beneficiary's address? hubby had to move. Can I email the NVC or call customer service and give it to them as well??
