  1. On the USCIS website it said if not available in country, they would be allowed to proceed with interview.
  2. Are you sure about this information about vaccination is at least started? My step-son is 13, going on 14, He has only had his 1st Sinovac, (Chinese vaccination). They don't have anymore 2nd dose vaccinations for children in the Philippines as far as we know. My wife is concerned that we may be held up in the process because only having the 1st dose for her child. Any additional Information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

So, do they have the IGRA tests now for children?
  4. More like "MORONIC" than ironic.
  5. I'm pretty sure it's only 1st and 2nd dose, but am not positive. I don't think they require the booster shots either. I'm not sure about the monovalent vs the bivalent either. Monovalent required 2 doses. Does anyone know if the bivalent requires 2 doses as well, or does a single dose of bivalent count for 2. We're trying to get 13 year old vaccinated in the next 3 months but they don't seen to have 1st doses an hour North of Manila.
  6. They probably don't care about US law and don't intend to ever leave, at least not until they get status, if ever. They should be turned in to immigration, other people have to take this journey the legal, time consuming and expensive way!
  7. What about if someone is married online, say in December 2021, consummates marriage in March 2022, gets gets approved Visa, then enters the US in say, January 2024. Would this be considered a 10-year GC or a 2-year?
  8. Most likely will have not moved by that time. I think my Apartments will maybe allow us to stay here between 2-4 weeks after they arrive.
  9. Hello, It looks like the Philippines is no longer requiring Covid-19 Tests or vaccines to travel there! Also on a couple of Airlines Philippine Air and Korean Air are no longer requiring the Antigen tests to travel there according to their websites.
  10. Hello, My Wife and step-son's DS-260's are DQ'd as of 7/3/2023, how long should it take to hear anything else from NVC or Manila about when we're able to schedule the medical's and interviews? Thanks
  11. Hello, I'm looking for opinions on whether or not to delay paying for GC or not until after Wife and step-son enter the US or not? After they arrive in the US, we have to move and change address because I'm not able to stay with them in my Senior Apts. Also, I would have to make sure the USCiS has my new address before paying the GC fees. Are there any negatives to delaying or would it be better to just pay after interview approval?
  12. Hello, If being required to move residence prior to receiving GC, will the USPS forward GC's to new address? Or does USCIS put a "Do Not Forward" message on GC mailing? Thanks for any responses!
  13. Yes, but what I mean is that anyone sponsoring fiancé or wife could be held responsible in civil court by using the I-864, whether or not the Fed's do it. That's the important part is USC's being held responsible, not just through USCIS but also by getting sued locally. It is far worse than what the USCIS responsibilities would be, most likely!
  14. Many people on here saying you are not obligated to support her are wrong. There are many cases across the US where attorney's have helped sponsored Permanent Residents receive Poverty guidelines support by taking the I-864 to court in support of the PR. The USC ends up paying at least minimum poverty, if not, even more than the minimum. The attorney's have found a loophole in the system to sue the USC.
  15. If he bought and sold the house while married to his ex, he could've been held responsible to give his ex 1/2 of the profit from the sale of the house, or as he said more than $1 mil. profit.
  16. This is the same Incomes that I have entered on my I-864 and submitted on 6/18/2023. I'm hoping that we don't receive that same message too. I guess I could add savings, amounting to around $105k, if additional evidence would be used. We are going through Manila as well. I have no joint sponsor available to me.
  17. It should be still free. If you try it, I would suggest you look for ladies to talk with first and if you find a special girl with the personality you like, eventually you could go to meet her. You may either have a few girls at least to meet or if the one you go to meet doesn't work out, then you have to go on your own there. Another avenue, if you're short on time, there is a US based company that has offices in Cebu City and Davao City that set up social events where there are around 10-1 females to men, if that's your thing and you end up with no other options.
  18. I met my wife on Dateinasia 5 years ago, went to visit her and travel around the Philippines for 30 days. I was already planning on moving there in 2-3 months though. When I had met her online, I really noticed the personality connection. She was actually in the process of becoming an OFW, like her sister had done. I just asked her to wait for me to come visit her first, which she did. I ended up moving to the Philippines, 2.5 months later, rented a house for 3 months in her town, and then travelled with her to Cebu and decided to move there. Went back to her town, just out of Manila, picked up her son to move to Cebu City. We lived there for about 2 years. Then I decided I needed to get back to the US for medical reasons, also there were too many distractions living in the Philippines for me. Less than a year later, I asked her to marry me. We got married online1.5 years ago and am now at the NVC stage waiting for DQ and an interview. It really helped me coming back to the US, realizing what I had found in her. She was so easy to live with, we have great memories together and our personalities just work. I had made mistakes in past relationships, but definitely knew what type of person I was looking for in her. Her personality is so fun to enjoy life with! I had been previously married to a different Filipina, I met on Cherry Blossoms before, that I brought to the US on a fiancé Visa, but was definitely a mistake not really getting to know her first. Dateinasia was actually a free site for both men and women alike, if interested.
  19. Wow, you've been through a lot. I'm still at the NVC stage waiting now and will be going a similar situation using my SSDI, luckily I have extra income and everything will be accepted. I'm just curious, If you've been going to the embassy interview's with your wife?
