  1. 1 in 10 or 1 in 17 is not true, according to my wife, who just failed X-ray along with about 80% of the others. She said there were 3-400 also there for the start of her sputum tests.
  2. My wife took all of the precautions, including an X-ray 1 month prior, which she passed, she took vitamins, exercised, milk x 1 week and other meds. Went to medical, got flagged for sputum, along with about 80% of the others, she said. had to go back 2 weeks later for the 4 days, including the day off for holiday and just finished today. She now has to wait until July 1st to go back, if nothing shows up negatively. Then she has about 1.5 months after that date to get in the US, along with her son.
  3. Her son had passed the original medical, but we canceled both and will try to reschedule in about a month and a half as it gets closer, if all goes well.
  4. My wife failed the X-rays too, then got scheduled 2 weeks later for sputum, which finished today. They gave her a July 1st date to come back for results and immunizations, if not contacted earlier. She said about 80% of people 2 weeks earlier were flagged for sputum, it seemed. Also, instead of giving the full 6 months to enter the US after 1st day of medical was only given a little over 4 months to enter.
  5. Step-son only had 1st vaccine, but passed medical because 2nd vaccine was unavailable. His Visa interview is May 8. Wife failed X-ray, even though it looked clear and she had gotten a clear X-ray through private Dr. 1 month earlier.
  6. Ir-2 passed medical at St.Lukes, Ir-1 (wife) failed X-ray, which really blows. Wife is down. Do we still proceed with son's interview or delay for wife, having to wait 2 weeks for sputum, then 2+ months for results, then trying to schedule IV appointment? Also, I'm thinking about moving out of California since we were already planning to get out of my birthplace state, which I can't deal with the politics anymore. Is it difficult to get the Visa's moved to a new address during this time, after submitting everything, not to miss in the mail? Thanks for any advice.
  7. For Ir-1, Ir-2, does anyone now know which covid vaccines are required to get through Slecs for medicals? Wife has had 1st 2 Sinovac vaccines over a year ago. Also, 14 yo has only had 1st vaccine and no more have been available for kids since his 1st about 6 months ago or so. Was told before that if not available, could possibly get a waiver is what I think I read for USCIS. Also, if not mandatory, we would prefer not to have any boosters for wife, if not required. Hoping someone has up-to-date inform on the current details. Thanks
  8. We were notified in the morning that showed case in Manila. At 2:30am that night, was able to access and schedule interviews for Ir-1, Ir-2.
  9. Wife is going to interview in May, having been married over 2 years. Is an AOM required for US Citizen? And if so, where would that need to be picked up? Thanks
  10. You should probably have another 9 or 10 months wait, if anything like the rest of us.
  11. I just was able to schedule both Visa interviews as well.
  12. Yes, thanks. We've been trying several times already.
  13. We just booked our medical's, (Ir-1/Ir-2) earlier in preparation.
  14. We, like you also live in the Sacramento area, expedited today.
  15. We just got expedite request to post as well for Ir-1/Ir-2. we're early July. Do we need to schedule interview now? And, if so, how? Thanks
  16. Your congressman you contacted, didn't happen to be Omni Vera, did it?
  17. No, you really should include the last 3 years tax transcripts, or tax returns, with W-2's, etc. if possible. If you haven't filed this year yet, use last years if it's adequate income. I would definitely include an employer letter with current income with your case.
  18. You should not have any problems with what you described, as long as she doesn't have several kids. They use your current income to qualify but include also your previous tax records as well.
  19. Yes, but the only ones CBP doesn't deny are all of the illegal migrants coming across our Southern border! I you're doing the petitions legally, waiting over 2 years + and paying lots of money to bring your spouse and step-child, they can and do deny entry! Such a scam of a system!
