Hi everyone! Lily, our husbands have their interview the same day!! Hope we all get great news. I'm taking that day off from work because I honestly don't think I could handle being at work waiting for my cell phone to ring and hear good news.

Lily, his interview is at 8:15 am Eastern Time. I don't expect to hear anything until maybe noon my time? I chatted to him tonight. He's nervous, but mostly about making sure he gets the bus, etc. Nothing would be worse than missing the interview because you missed the bus. I'm supposed to ring his cell phone to wake him up. I'll bet he's not even sleeping.

Well, the waiver was needed.

My attorney said we could pay the fee in US dollars, but the embassy would not accept cash.

They need a bank draft. They took the waiver packet & said to send in the payment.

My husband has no bank account and has the cash in US dollars in Ireland.

Any suggestions on how I'm going to pay the waiver fee? I can get a bank draft & send it over, but can anybody think of a way somebody without an account can get a bank draft in Ireland in USD??

I've searched all over the net and can't find anything other than "you can pay in cash in USD," but that turned out to be untrue.

julie why don't you get a draft from here and send it overnight ( there is an international cashier's check if you go to your bank they will show you which one )

or he can get the us dollars exchange in ireland and go to a bank and get a cashiers check in ireland bank ,, he does not have to have an account to get a draft but i don't know if that works in ireland , normally here what we do is you can get a draft by paying cash it is just extra if you don't have a special kind of account which will allow you to get it for free, but to get a draft you don't necessary have to have an account , so having say that i think the best thing to find out is if he can get a draft with out having an account there? ask him just to go to any bank and tell them the situation , or do it from here and overnight pm if you need more info.

maybe he will be here by then? hmmmm....

I have to drive down to Bangkok for 8 hours and one day before the interview date. I have 2 heavy bags for this interview and one x-ray film..I just bring everything with me. I dont know how I am gonna be on that day...turbo speeding??..lol..

I try to relax here by keep cleaning my house since Saturday and lucky me, my son helps me that too..Wondering if anybody has some activities to do while you guys are waiting for the interview? and for whoever is waiting for log in fail or before POE..anyway, good luck for everyone..

time moves so slow since i've got the interview sched..

dear nattt , word on the gym part i have been doing that too , swimming is my best best relaxer and ofcourse the spa after 30 min of treadmill,, try to start making your list of things to take with you kind of a list on paper , may be get your hair done and menicure pedicure ( it makes me feel good some times too ) you will be good to go last but not list get your music on and drive girl lol

I can def relate to this ,, you told him not to call you ,, i really laugh on this one ,, it will be the same thing , atleast you thought it was not gonna be the same as you call him to hear the outcome of the interview than he does lol, "The things this process does to us" , this might be my next book" (copy right 2009 By Lily ) any ways stay calm , and think he will get his visa ( i know it is hard ) but you got to try dear, i guess your husband is also nervouse tell him to be calm as well and this officers are nothing but gov employees . My husband and I talked saying about this too " just be honest , confident, and answer only to what you have been ask for"

also you can do a mock interview with your honey .

Nerves are starting to set in here.....

Hi All my interview is also tomorrow morning here in Bridgetown Barbados and i am nervous as hell. Everytime i think about it my stomach starts to ache. To top it off my husband keeps reminding me that it is soon and questioning whether or not i am nervous and ready. He even took the day off so he will be able to get the news as soon as it is over. Bad Idea. Now he will be home pacing the room and be tempted to email me or call. I told him do not call me unless i call him. I just want this thing to be over and done with.

Good Luck to all Vjers with interviews this month and especially tomorrow Monday. Keep me in your prayers as you will be in mine.

OMGOMGOMGOMG. OKAY. Turns out we REALLY have to expedite now. My husband is getting deployed to Japan in June 2010. IM SO EXCITED.

YES. FOR 2 WHOLE YEARS. I'm SOOO happy. I am the biggest fan of Japan, anime, you name it!! And I'll probably learn the language quickly too since it's a passion and I'll be immersed in it!! But yeah, I have to be there no later than April. So we have to expedite it so I can be there asap. I'll just stay at my mother in law's house until we get the official orders. !

Wow, what a great experience! How fun! I have a friend who lives there (an English teacher) and she loves it!

Special tea sounds nice. Scotch sounds nicer. I'm not a drinker, but I seriously feel like ruining my liver and calling into work HUNG OVER on Monday.

I can't believe there aren't more first week of December interviews. Just a handful of us! I guess maybe a lot of the embassies were filled for December by the time NVC got to scheduling. I think the USCIS picked up the pace starting in February, and maybe the NVC has been having trouble keeping up.

yes may be nvcs' have hangover, now julie don't drink , with this electrodes just came out of you and the joy of what you are gonna hear on monday, you may explode so i don't want that happen to you , because i want you tell me the good news.

Awright, I'm thankful for small miracles here.

The electrodes are off and the waiver package arrived with an hour to spare!

I verified with the doctor's office that the x-rays and sealed packet are ready.

So I guess we're all set for Monday.

1/ emails me and my husband exchanged

2/ personal random pictures , any kind , photo with his family ,, am just saying pic in general lol

3/ itenary when i traveled to see him ( just for the hack of it you won't lose any thing for having it handy)

4/ phone bills

5/ if you have bills you show you paid while traveling etc.

for now that is all i got

other evidence that you think you should add , would be a good idea to have it handy ,, they won't be upset if you show them proof of relationship lol

You didn't send that stuff at the beginning? I think I went a little crazy when I sent my I-130...but then again, maybe that helped me go from NOA1 to NVC complete in less than three months!

I'm only a week away before my interview (Dec. 10,'09) and I can't get a proper sleep already. My documents are already arranged and in order and I always check and look at it because I feel that something is missing and I don't know what it is...paranoia sucks! Goodluck to us all.

Christeen, I cannot make this sh*t up.

The package has our waiver, the brief, plus my original hardship letter, with original attachments - affidavits & letters from doctors.

For the past three days, I have been undergoing an ambulatory EEG for my seizure disorder - electrodes attached to my head that are now hurting like you wouldn't believe. I can't bathe, I can't wash my hair, and I have a heavy bag strapped to me with electrodes that are literally GLUED to my scalp.

I seriously think I may have shorted this thing out earlier when I got the news.

I'm in pain, my head and my heart hurt, and I cannot believe I paid $3500 for this "service" I've gotten so far.

you got be kidding me... can he track the package and see where it is ???? why did he send it this late any way ??? ,, what in the world is he doing ? i can do this my self,., and i sure don't have a law degree,,, what is going on with this dude ,, i am so so sorry julie.

I'm there too. Interview tomorrow in Jamaica. My husband is so relaxed but I am like freaking out but trying not to show him this. Every night I'm asking him does he have everything to take to Kingston, did he sign everything. Does he know how to get to the embassy???? I will be so glad when this is over or my liver is gonna shrivel up and die!!!
