  3. Hi guys!

I got approved..my interview was really short..but I had to wait for that long...I got up at 4.30 am and left home around 5.30 am..took a lil' while to drive and waited at the parking space. I arrived the embassy around 7 am..then the prescanner called and asked for the documents like emails, and phone bills only. The rest were in with the packet DS-230. Then I had to wait until 9.45 am

The CO was a girl..she was really nice..the brought up some questions like

    1. how did you meet your husband?

    2. When did the frist time we met?

    3. When we got married?

    4. When is our son's BD?

    5. What does he do and where he's at now?

That's all for the questions...very shorts...

Last but no least, thank you for all support and helped me get through this process...and best luck for everyone who is going to have upcoming interview

Good thread to start, Julie. I had never seen that link to the Waiver status before. This is excruciating.

Julie I know the feeling " left behind" may god make this wait shorter for you and approval decision.

wow Banker that is a great news , NO Ap for you especially when you thought you were gonna be in one .

    CONGRATS

  8. Thank you Lily!!! I'm so happy  . POE will be until Jan. 7. My husband is like your husband. He needs to leave everything ready for the next person who's going to take over his position at his job.

So this is how it went:

He arrived at the embassy at 9:45. His appointment wasn't until 12 pm but there were already 4 people making line so my husband was # 5.

They let everyone in at around 11 am. By 11:20 he was done with the fingerprints. Then he was called to a window for the actual interview. By 1 pm he was done.

These are the questions he was asked:

    What's your wife's name?

If we have any kids together?

    Husband answered yes.

How many? Only one, he asked him how old our son is, his date of birth, then he asked to see our son's birth certificate and husband's birth certificate. Looked at them briefly and returned them to my husband.

    When did we meet?

Husband answered, back in '84. Consul gave my husband a look of disbelief and then my husband said we had met when we were kids. Consul just laughed.

    When did we start dating?

    In 1991

    When did we get married?

    2007.

Who had petioned me to come to the US?

    He said my mom.

Have you ever had any problems with the police?

Husband answered no... I work for the police.

    Consul laughed again.

And that was it. The consul smiled at my husband and said "congratulations: your visa is approved. You can go pay the courier service and have a nice day"

It was a very smooth interview. He was done in no time. Thank God!!!! :star:

Ivy i can't tell you how happy I am for you , especially for your child to reunite with his dad.:dance:

the questions were almost the same as my husband's

congrants again , now you have to gaize at the sky and look at every plane that pass by your house .

  9. the process was immensely long and painful- unfortunately it is not over for me. My hubby was put on AP- it was expected but what sucked was that he was so close to an approval. The woman taking his interview grabbed the pink slip and then another officer came and said to ask my hub more questions. From there we ended up on Additional Processing. I am reading stories about people being on it for like 33 months and its extremely scary. At least up to this point we knew there was a time frame, from here its the unknown. Good luck to all who have upcoming interviews.

deep sorry qhyder hopefully it won't be that long ( 33 month ) oh my god may god help you make that 33 days or less .

My husband called me about 30 mins. ago. He was approved!!! Thank God almighty!! Thank you guys for your good wishes!

Ive yayeee  i am so happy for you well get cozyyy at the fire place with your honey .

  13. Yes! My hubby's interview was supposed to be today, but after his medical yesterday they decided to interview him a day early. Of course all our stuff was at the hotel! All was fine cuz they asked for nothing, didn't even interview us, and he was approved! Four months of stress for an easy "interview." I can't believe it! Remember your stress will soon be gone!

Fin congrats , i know you are partying ,,

  14. My wife had her interview yesterday. They made her wait for 5 hours. They didnt ask that many questions. The interviwer was nice and asked a few questions. They didnt ask for any documents and said everything was with them. Then they gave the blue slip to her and told her to check every week online. So yeah, i should have known that she would get an AP. What a load of horse c.....

Anyway, I dont know how long APs take in Abu dhabi for women. So yeah, thats what happened with us... Quite a downer.

So sorry :( I hope that you have a short AP...

so so so sorry about your Ap , you have been waiting all this time now Ap i know how that feels i know how i acted since i am not gonna be able to see my husband after the new year and i know how you would be feeling about this !!

    good luck

  15. Hello People...15th morning, my wife has her interview at Abu Dhabi.. So close to finally finishing this process. I would love to spend New Years with her in Boston. Please pray that she gets approved and is here asap. All the people who got approved, any tips on what they asked? Also, on the interview sheet, she had nothing which was supposed to be brought with her...what did you all take with you?

    Thanks :)

the interview is not as complecated as it seems especially if you already submitted evidence before also it is required you have it with you , any ways it is not that hard just be honest and tell the truth and show your evident i posted some stuff they asked on the interview on my previous post check that out and if you have anyq let me know .

    good luck

Hello guys, our case got completed last December 8, although I don't have yet my interview date that will occur in US Embassy-Riyadh Saudi Arabia, i'm starting to feel so nervous and worried about the result.

I already got all the documents aside from the PCC, do I have to get another NBI clearance from the Philippines and a PCC in Saudi aside from those I submitted to the NVC? These things really made me so uncomfortable and can'y sleep at night.

Did you guys get another PCC to be submitted during your interview or the NVC will send those PCC's that you previously submitted to them to the embassy?:wacko:

No you don't have to send another PCC with you nvc will forward for you . i don't understand the saudi NBI what are you asking exactly?

Thank you....less then 12 hours to go. How long does it take for the whole interview process to finish?

it depends...5 mins, 20 mins, many questions, couple questions...and waiting time before the interview also...:D
