And aside from that, there's reality. As in real life.
For example, for ridiculous reasons of being politically correct, one is not allowed to specify a certain race, or age, or gender, when wanting to rent out a house or apartment, or hiring for a job.
If I'm a landlord, more specific an old Lady in her 70s, wanting to rent out the small guesthouse in the back of my property to a single girl between the ages of 35 to 50, and I want her to be as white as I am, I can't phrase that, as it would violate the law. So my add reads: "guest house for rent to one person only." The consequence is that many people of all ages, genders, and ethnic backgrounds waste their time leaving work early and coming by and applying for said house, but I'm renting it out to whomever I want to rent it out: the single white girl between age 35 and 50.
Or, let's say I operate a Chinese laundry in Chinatown, and God dammed, I want a Chinese girl to help me, not a Mexican guy. But I can't say "Chinese girl" wanted. So if the Mexican guy comes, I don't hire him, I hire the Chinese girl, and the Mexican guy, and the white guy, and the black guy, and girl, all wasted their time, thanks to that stupid law. It's not about discrimination, it's about PREFERENCE! If the Chinese guy prefers a Chinese girl for the job, that doesn't mean he hates other races, or guys, it means just what it means: he prefers a Chinese girl of a certain age for his Chinese clients. His business, his clients, his money, his decision.
A final example of many: if I have a law firm in a Hispanic neighborhood, with mostly Mexican or Puerto Rican or whatever population, I want to hire a lawyer or paralegal of exactly that background. But I can't do so, by law. Hence I have to advertise that position and many people waste their time applying, as I am hiring exactly whom I intend to hire: the Mexican or Puerto Rican lawyer or paralegal.
Some with lending. I don't know how Fanny May, after almost being killed by the recent financial crisis, handles it, but if I'm a lender and I don't want to lend my money to anybody but US citizens of a certain risk group, or profession, or whatever, I do just that. That doesn't mean that I tell 'em my criteria; it just means that I don't lend them money because I do not want to assume the financial risk. End of story.

Sometimes. But the number of them has gone up quite a bit recently, and not because of medical necessity.
OP: ask hospitals what % of their births are by C-section, they should have stats

If you end up in a hospital, insist that you don't want a C-section. Have someone else there when the time comes to back it up. They have apparently become more common lately. More expensive too... And they are more likely to happen when it is time to change shifts...

I also still find it amazing that you must have a license to drive a car, keep a pet, go hunting or fishing (in some places, maybe not all?), hold certain jobs, etc., but to be a parent--- you can just have sex.

Easy for people without the same budget constraint to argue taking food out of the mouths of children to pay for something not necessary - accuse you of murdering them by Russian Roulette if you don't spend their food money on something they don't need. As if food, shelter, clothing, etc. not to mention saving money for the future were not priorities too. This is a rapaciously profit-driven industry and you have to be alert in avoiding their relentless overkill on expensive services.
Our birthing center costs a fraction of the hospital, and it is a couple of blocks away, no big deal for going to an operating room at the hospital if you have to. Same thing with home birth for a lot of people with midwives, but we lived an hour from the hospital out in the woods so home birth was not an option for us. Filipinas are small compared to Americans so ceasarians are more common and that dictated what we did in the end. But the whole prenatal overkill - sheesh. Learn and study on your own good prenatal habits like vitamins, etc. instead of just blindly putting yourself in the hands of the prenatal profit predators. We also learned about direct testing where instead of first going to a doctor and getting a referral to the lab and then once again visiting the doctor to have him read the result to you - there are online places to get the same tests ordered and sent directly to you, with counseling at a fraction of the cost, and with real privacy unlike the hospitals. You avoid two office visit charges by direct testing. We fired our first OB/BYN people because they refused to refer us to the lab for tests unless we did absolutely everything they ordered us to do. Extortion, basically. Treating us like stupid cows. Don't ask questions. So we said fine then, you are fired and these tests you are threatening to withold from us will be done at the very same lab without your permission.
Go to the local public assistance office in your area. Guaranteed there's one nearby - look in the state offices phone directory. They are there to do just that - assist you. They are going to look at your income and monthly expenses to see if you qualify. Your state will have some kind of medicaid funded program. It might not be called medicaid, but it is funded by medicaid. If you do not qualify for something you are going to need to get cracking on taking charge of this thing and being smart about what you spend money on. Some hospitals have debt forgiveness programs or sliding scale fees or at a minimum an installment program. Call them. The business office will be the place to ask.
Good luck and yea - be smart about the money you need for this baby's welfare. After they are born you can get immunizations at the public health centers for free, or pay a doctor to charge you for the lab referral and then a second one to read the outcome to you.

A child birth costs oftentimes $10K in a hospital and between $1,5K and $3K at home using a mid wife. I was born at home and so were not millions but billions of people, literally. In fact, the hospital birth is a fairly new invention so that as many doctors and nurses can charge for services that are not really necessary.
That said, raising a single child will cost about $250,000 these days, so compared to that the cost of giving birth is just a drop in the bucket. All of this needs to be taken into consideration when planing a family. However, as a US citizen, sponsoring a foreigner has no negative impact. If your husband would need public assistance, that would be a different story. But since Schwarzenegger gave birth in the movies, no such case has been reported, at least no to my knowledge.

    Your mindset is totally misguided.
The US government doesn't care how much hardship you endure. You are a foreigner, in the US without authorization. On top of this, you have been convicted of not 1, not 2, but 3 felonies, and you've been making babies like a rabbit with different women without concern to the well-being of these children, which should be your main responsibility in life. Uncle Sam has no interest to see you staying in this country, nor do the American people in general. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but that's the reality you'll have to accept.
The only reason an I-601 waiver would be approved is if your wife can show that she will endure extreme hardship if you can't return to the US before 2021 or 2022. She will also have to prove that it is fairly impossible to live with you, her loving husband to whom she pledged to share a life with come hell or high water, in your country of citizenship or residence. While it is possible to prove this, I'm not even sure if the 3 felony convictions you have don't make you a persona non grata and thus ineligible to ever set foot on US soil again. It really depends on the crimes themselves. Your case really demands that you get in touch with a competent immigration attorney and see if there's anything that can be done, which I, frankly, doubt very much.

The hardship has to be with the person who is petitioner, since you do not have any children with your wife, I am not sure you can use your 6 kids as the hardship, the hardship has to be directly upon your wife, not your children
    Good luck
PS - consulte a lawyer, before you do anything

When would you stop lieing? If the scars were enough to get you a green card there are millions waiting in line outside US to enter the country everyone would put scar on themself.
Why were you involved in felonies - did someone try to kill u then too?
Stop fooling around yourself, best for you is to return to your home country and sooner the better.

I'm sorry if my response is a bit blunt, I realize that you're in pain already but here goes.
Sister, he's playing you. A MAN doesn't let someone he purportedly loves suffer. Not even for a second. If he has to dig ditches and scrub toilets, then that's what a MAN does. Your new husband is a house guest and a sponge, nothing more and nothing less. I'm sorry but that's my feeling on the matter. He doesn't want to marry you, period. If he loved you he would stand up to his family and tell them, especially after you're legally married for 8 mos. Heck, he'd say 'let's get hitched' and be done with it. He's a user, pure and simple. He feels no compulsion in being lazy and doesn't feel any sympathy for you whatsoever. You are killing yourself, for what? Don't you deserve better than this? He gets "very verbally abusive and behaves erratic," when confronted, what do you suppose will happen in the future? His normal is for you to kowtow to his whims and not question him, what's wrong with this picture? If you've never had sex then the marriage is legal but it can be annulled since it has never been consummated.

It's all obviously a ploy by the lotion industry to increase sales.
I understand if there is religious reasoning, I guess... but otherwise, WHY? And we should encourage people to use CONDOMS (and bathing), not rely on something that does not provide anywhere near 100% protection of STDs.

Utterly barbaric. I am sure most of the boys would rather willingly take a shower a day for the sake of hygiene. There are also better ways to protect oneself from STDs. ANY other protection method is better.

The poor lads have to go home wearing a dress, so as to not irritate the wound. They continue to wear that dress for a week, or more, until area is no longer sensitive. It is an example of sick Abrahamic mutilation at its worst.

I dont know if this is helpful advice but maybe you should start looking within the U.S as it is obvious you are marrying off the pure adrenaline of meeting someone and not actually taking the time to get to know them. Just my opinion. I didnt meet my Fiance through some online dating site or anything like that and im not saying you did but i do see a lot of this. I met my fiancee because my boss sent me to the Caribbean for work and i flew back 5 times in the last year spending 2 weeks each time and an average of 5 hours a day on skype. Yes i know Philippines is far and more expensive and i dont claim to know how much time you put into knowing someone before marrying them, im just saying really take your time and good luck!
