Which form? Are you referring to the ds260? If so, it is submitted online therefore there's no need to sign it with a pen or anything.

according to my logic:
-the idea of uscis step is to confirm a bona fide marriage/relationship. if they are not sure about it they send RFEs. if they approve it means that everything is fine.
-relationship evidences are not required at NVC
i don't get why people are so overzealous, too many papers in a package might look suspicious, like you want to prove something very hard, too hard.
a consulate step is to verify everything, so they can ask about everything.

I've never had anyone be anything but nice to me at NVC. They've been courteous, answered my questions...they were nice people. One guy helped me with a question about my I-864 that even my accountant got wrong (resulting in a checklist). I truly think they want to get your paper processed and you out of there as quick as they can, and they do have a lot of people to process. So try your best to be patient. We'll get through this, eventually, surely. We're all anxious and we all want it yesterday and it just doesn't work that way, unfortunately.

I'm not sure there is a more simple breakdown. That is the simple breakdown and answers the questions you asked. Good luck on your journey.

I called so much while our case was at NVC I started knowing the agents on a first name basis. We were not flagged for anything. I found all the agents I dealt with were all very friendly, some even had a personality.

OK - so get to an internet cafe , or find one that you trust,
or find a new friend that has an internet connection inside of an office.
I would not rely on NVC sending forms to your address in the USA - they will do it, but it will go very slow, 2 to 3 months per thing.
The other bit that you'll have problems with ,
is that the DS-261 and DS-260 are online forms - the DS-3032 and DS-230 are no longer used.

My comment was not ignorant at all. I simply asked the person what they honestly thought it meant. That others thought my comment was funny had no basis on my asking if the person could understand what was written. Not to mention everyone on here has a USC spouse as well. So the USC should be able to explain this sentence to their beneficiary. If neither person cannot understand that simple sentence, perhaps they need lawyer to help them with their paperwork.
My journey is done thank you until I have to ROC. So I stick around to help others and part of that help is encouraging them to think for themselves and help themselves whenever possible. In that I also need to determine how much help that person really will need or if they're just excited and randomly posting questions.
But thank you for making an awesome assumption on my genuine question based on the fact that someone laughed. Have a great day!

And most importantly: read the first two posts!! I'd say like 90% of questions here can be answered by simply READING

Thanks for keeping an eye out for me !! Please keep me updated on your K-3. There have been a few k-3's that have made it to the embassy lately. Who told you it was killed? NVC? I swear they say the same info to everyone without knowing each circumstance. I am so happy I actually got to voice my preference. I have no idea if it will go my way... but I'm hoping
Thanks to all the members who keep checking for my approval !!

Just saw this on a thread and thought I'd share here too as it's relevant. You can now get the IRS tax transcripts online (no longer need to wait to receive it by mail)!! Look here: http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript
This will make it even easier (and way faster) for people to get their tax transcripts to send to NVC

Mine was approved on Dec. 11th, I called USCIS to check that it had been sent and he said "yes, go ahead and call NVC and DON'T let them tell you they haven't gotten it, because they should have." He was super nice. I called NVC on the 23rd and the guy was nice, said he could see it was being entered into the system and had been received on the 16th. So I dunno I guess mine went fast. I was also told 10-20 days for case number....I plan on calling every monday and Friday til I get the #s.
And I think if you talk to men, they are nice...the women seem to be witches.

Before #304 and After #311 pretty much all have either approval/denial/or RFE (Except #312 &313 those are just saying transfer, but that could also be a glitch.)
Over the past week or so, it's looked like they were slowly going backwards from #320. Yesterday they did #311. But obviously, no idea where these cases are sitting. *sigh*
I know, it's crazy work. But it's better than actually sitting with the quiet time at night after the kids go to bed. This is the first Christmas in 9 years we've been apart. When we spoke the other day, he sounded very upset, which usually doesn't happen.
I really hope that my kids don't wake up tomorrow expecting their dad to be here. They've been crying a lot lately, and both asked Santa repeatedly for their Daddy back. It's the one thing that is out of my hands and I can't fix, even though they know I've been working on it, and trying everything I can.
Anyway, I've gotta keep it together for the next two days. Thanks for listening to me ramble. I sincerely hope that you all have a great holiday (if you celebrate, and a great day if you don't.) and that we all get done with this step of the process in the next few weeks.

Got an e-mail from USCIS a few hours ago:
"Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity
On December 12, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."
Approval at last! Thank God!

I don't think that they're making much of a difference for those people who were directly effected or not. I actually doubt that all of the Philippine beneficiaries that we've seen pushed to the front of the line were directly effected. To me it really does look like they're just looking at the petitions that say they're for the Philippines, and pushing them through.

Corlitoa, you asked if those of us who received a transfer were expedited. Nope not us, we are just plain vanilla filers.

Honestly we seem to have a bunch of disorganized people working there and they do not follow a order or care that we are seperated from our spouses because one lost is more for them.. right... So unfair
