i thought for a K1 it had to be round trip? In case you didnt marry she/he would have a way home. Might want to make sure

I use http://www.hipmunk.com, but try for Korean air even if it costs more, its worth it
-
I wouldn't have flown PAL to deal with this nonsense. Korea air all the way

I bought a cheap sim cutter, you can cut a regular into a micro sim easy

The family sounds like complete A-Holes. I would stop telling them any of your business and separate yourself from them. You deserve to be happy and if they cant support that, then to hell with them.
You don't need your families or anyone else's approval for your choices.
I would just say " Im going to be married and would love for you guys to be apart of our lives, but that decision is yours not mine" And thats it

I personally have no issue with people that cross the border and end up in the usa, legal or not. Or eventually are granted some sort of legal status, i'm ok with that. But it just seems like those that take the legal paths are not respected much at all.
By dream act, i'm just speaking of the programs that allow children (not born in the usa ) to be able to stay in the USA. And i'm ok with that , but i'm not really ok with paying all these fees and waiting so long to not be approved. While others are breaking the law to enter the USA and are given a free pass .
I just think the priorities of USCIS are completely backwards , those that pay fees, follow process, and wait the length of time required should be first . Especially in cases of family such as husband /wife/children
But i guess this is beating a dead horse so to speak. Might as well lock the thread
Thanks

Just because you marry a foreigner doesn't give you any inherit rights.
Thats true, but i just assumed since the USA has no problem with illegal immigrants crossing in and staying or kids being brought over as illegal and growing up in the states that the legal path would be a lot more accepted.
Example
Immigrant crosses the border, has no visa brings a child not born in the usa, that kid gets to stay under the dream act
Me, married my wife and have a son. My wife can't even visit for a short time after following all legal channels.
For me, yes i do see a difference in those.
If the wife of a usa citizen and mother of a usa citizen has no right, then illegals should also have no right. But instead it seems they have more rights than those of us that follow the laws and steps and wait our time (years)

Well, one of the reasons we tried to immigrate is because we were told the tourist visa is impossible . We were just trying all that we could because i feel my wife should be allowed to meet my family. Its sort of crazy the stuff we have to deal with that is preventing that. I have to say, its Un-American

So, our immigration is at a stand still and at some point we might just cancel it all together. We would be happy if my wife could just get a tourist visa to the states and visit my family for maybe a month and us return to the philippines.
How impossible is it for the wife of a usa citizen to get a tourist visa?

Agreed my first trip was on American Airlines, the staff was rude they hardly give you much to eat and make you pay for everything. I had to dispute just get them to pour me a little soda to drink. I was hungry the whole trip and treated poorly.
But, on Korean Air flying coach feels like being first class. The staff are wonderful, friendly , you are given plenty of drink and alcohol choices. Personally, I will only fly Korean Air or Japan Airlines (JAL) JAL also treated me very well, on a flight that didnt have many people on board they auto upgraded me to business (i didnt even ask)
So nice

Our good friends at USCIS are never going to approve her for a tourist visa because she is married to an American citizen. Almost no amount of proof will get this approved i believe

Sorry but i don't buy this story, women all over the world want a partner that has money or is well off. This is not unique to the philippines in fact you can find it all over America! haha, of course people want to better their economic situation.
I'm near poorer areas and i don't have women throwing themselves at me here in the philippines. Its just not fact

Philippines banking is terrible you are better off to send them moneygram if you want to send money to avoid the issues

If my son is a USA citizen, could either one of my parents (my sons grandmother or grandfather) could either one petition my sons mother to the usa?
Example
Usa citizen marries a Filipina, they have a child
Can the citizens parents petition the childs mother, if the child becomes a usa citizen?
Does an i-130 cover a daughter in law and Grandson (the grandson whom is a usa citizen)

I would avoid agoda, they are just an agency that gets X % from the reservation. You can book directly cheaper I would bet

Lotus garden is in a good area , not far from Robinsons mall so you can eat, relax and in walking distance its a fairly safe area
-
Dont get confused or tricked into "bayview tower" which is not the same as bayview hotel.
Bayview tower claims to be a hotel but isn't and has no transfers, old rooms and is the worst place ever.
The lotus garden or cherry blossom is near Robinson Ermita, which isnt very far. Its cheaper and better

For that much she could live on her own, almost . She might pay around 6k for her own place, but if she is sick she doesnt need to be around others that are.

As time goes on, i'm starting to feel AWA isnt about protecting anyone but just keeping immigrants out of the country. It makes no sense for families and people that have dated/married for years living together. Its just completely senseless so its my only thoughts is that they are discriminating against the wives and husbands of Adam walsh filers on purpose.

I would becareful of the bayview hotel , read the reviews first

Use Korea air, via south Korea.
Engagement ring, bring or ship? VAT- (Tax?)
in Philippines

Far too risky to ship a ring, you should bring it in person . If you ship it you might end up with just an empty box once it arrives
