  1. "A bit of background:

I was convicted of Lewd and Lascivious assault on a minor under the age of 16 in 1996 (Adjudication withheld). I went through a program called KIDS that involved counseling and periodical lie detectors tests. I graduated that program and was released from the probation that I was on because those terms were met. I am now on a life time registration though because I was on probation during the time the laws went through that required SOR's to register."

You are going to have a very difficult time with this, I highly suggest hiring a lawyer very skilled with the Adam Walsh Act

  2. It depends on what doctor or hospital you visit. For small issues i visit the local hospitals/doctors or clinics in the mall. For anything more serious i suggest saint lukes or Makati Medical. Best way to think of it, is you get what you pay for. Also a lot of cheaper hospitals have old equipment. I had an ultrasound done at a cheaper hospital and the equipment did not pick up anything , due to poor quality/old. But at Saint lukes they had a new machine and it was crystal clear.

  3. I met a bargirl here and learned a lot about her and the lifestyle. Its not something they want to do, but of course they are poor and options are limited. They hope to meet a nice guy and marry like everyone else. Some have a lot of family pressure to earn money and support the family but can't at a regular job and sort of end up in the lifestyle.

Out on the streets you see women with kids and they are starving and have nothing. In a way i respect the bar girl at least she is support her kids /family and not just leaving them to starve.

  4. So i live with my wife and son in the philippines, we recently filed the CBRA and just received his passport today. Nothing was mention or told to us about a Social Security Number. Do we need to do anything extra or is it something they are going to mail us later? We have his USA passport now, and a CBRA certificate

    BI LAUNCHES LONG-STAY VISA 14 June 2013

Foreigners intending to stay longer in the country may now avail of a six-month, long-stay tourist visa that will be launched next week by the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

BI Commissioner Ricardo A. David, Jr. also announced the introduction of a new visa sticker that will replace the wet stamp used by the Bureau in implementing extensions of stay in the passports of foreign tourists.

David said the Long Stay Visitor Visa Extension (LSVVE) project was launched to spur tourist arrivals in the country by giving foreigners the privilege to prolong their stay here without the need to frequent the BI office."

  6. "We got denied because that was not sufficient"

They say this to everyone no matter what you submit. Its just the default answer . They have no standard of what is sufficient? They don't have any list or guidelines to follow to explain what is good enough. Thats why everyone is stuck fighting this. It will probably take a lawsuit to fix

  7. I have a lawyer who told me criminal record does not matter if u go there and marry ... That's is from a immigration lawyer mouth

Your lawyer would be absolutely wrong and has no idea what he is talking about. Being married doesn't change anything regarding the burden of proof ( which is completely arbitrary)
