    Sorry, I put my response in the wrong place! duh! lol

    Sus, I kind of feel that way too. Believe me I love Steve with all my heart, but if we don't work out life still has to go on. Do I want us to work? Absolutely!!!! Would I leave over something like this situation? NO!!! I'd work it out. I think its a very "real" and valid answer. I think sometimes this whole immigration thing can be a bit overwhelming. Even if I was married to an USC I would still feel the same way because a man is a man. The only difference is the circumstances that brought us together. I refuse to stay in something thats not healthy if the time comes. I have been by myself 7 years before Steve and I would gladly do it all over again if it meant my piece of mind.

    Again, just my opinion.

    i feel the same way... i have told roger.. i will divorce him in a heart beat and nuh tink anodda ting about it, BUT if things fall apart just becuz i wasn't able to make him see things my way all the time or vice versa, i would be so regrettful of that....

    sounds like lehi knows his woman, and really didnt mind. He enjoyed snuggling w/ his wifey, so its all good

    but let me give you an example of what i mean

    they advertise this big sale every couple of mnths in our area at the fair park. roger saw the commercial and he called me and was so excited bout a $70 computer and he wanted to know how to get there. I told him... baby those ppl be lying to get you in there.. AND you gotta pay to get in the building plus parking.. he said OH..and i felt bad, i mean he isn't a child, as long as he is not putting my family in danger i have to let him do him. so i told him, "but you know what, you never know, you should see it for yourself".. and i told him how to get there

    he got there and was calling me saying they didn't have nothing that was on tv and all the stuff was cheap and ugly stuff LOL (everything i told him(.. and he was gonna try to find something since he had come all that way and had to pay to get in..

    he ended up getting him and me a watch and me some shoes, so i guess it wasn't all bad LOL

    that was MEEEEE jam q, LOL. then try fi lie and say he didn't mean for it to come to me..

    then why when it came on in the car, he gonna tell my kids, that he dedicates that to me.. 100% FOOL!!

    i don't know bout the cable jam q.. its been a year now, and i don't know how to decide what the kids can and can't watch which most of the time mean they watch everything..

    roger didn't like that my 12 yr old was singing "smash the homeys" (rolls eyes)

    girl i can't imagine my daughters and roger talking bout boys.. he will chat bout getting the gun LMAO

    That's why I was so confused last weekend. We talked about it again last night...she's a great kid. We should be extremely thankful we don't have any issues out of her. He needs too loosened up some things.

    A guy asked her on a date last week. She put everything on her terms...she wanted to have a coffee date (walking distance so she didn't have to get into his car) so they can discuss film studies (two nerds) after school. I thought it was a good idea while Damien almost had a heart attack :blink:. They were home by 5. Plus she asked Damien her opinion because it meant a lot to her. I asked Damien how many teenagers would have done that???

    GIRL!!!

    these men.. so old fashioned. that will be me 5 years from now :wacko:

    awww.. now i gotta go, hope you and ray are well.. hows the new years party coming..

    looks like i might be in the atl for CHRISTmas....

    LOL, I was just getting ready to call you out because I haven't heard from you in months. lol Everything is going good. Just starting to plan for the party. I know I'm all late, but I was torn between the party or renting a limo and going out for the evening. Jamaicans love to party, so I'm going that route now. Have fun in ATl, I'll get down there one of these days.

    late?? whatever.. i would prolly be doing it last min after we open xmas presents LMAO!!!!

    Well I do so now I'll just have to check the junk folder. Don't seem the like the riht junk is going to the junk folder. LOL I wish I would move some work into the junk box.

    aww d! you know you been there from the beginning holding my hand, smacking my face..

    i just couldn't see myself paying all this money and doing all this ppwrk w/out some solace that others have done it and are just fine.. you know me!

    shems... what a great surprise for hubby.. i am not good w/ surprises, i always wanna tell it!

    this feels GREAT he is legit.. he is finally ----TECHNICALLY-- Legally--- here..

    i don't know how to explain it.. it just all feels real now even tho ive had him here for 6 mnths..

    i am so thankful today for finding vj 2years ago.. most of those ppl are gone, but i really wanna share how much this site has helped me, made me laugh, i really could not have done all this paperwork/relationship/drama and otherwise w/out the information and support.. i prolly would never have made it this far

    hey everybody..

    ms tee.. its not really that ells shouldn't be upset.. heck she should feel anyway she pleases like you said, and she should tell her husband how she feels about.. BUT, should those feelings be the deciding force in a mutual decision?

    i believe as a wife, we sometimes can use our feelings to manipulate our husbands to doing things WE want them to do, even UNKNOWINGLY.. NOT SAYING ELLS IS OR WOULD EVER DO THIS,

    this is esp easy to do w/ our husbands, men that are here away from everyone they know and love , and all he has is his wife (whom he loves as well LOL).. he will want to do what she wants, how she wants to make her happy and for life to be peaceful in the house..

    this can cause problems down the line.. so i think what most of us are saying is she should take Lehi's feelings into consideration which she very well may be doing and try for both of them to come up with a solution together that BOTH his and her best interest in mind..

    i hope ells or nobody else feels bad about things that are said, this is your venting spot and if it sparks a discussion, please don't take anything personal

    hey jaws.. the biometrics does usually take 30 days for the appt, u usually get the appt letter few days after you get the NOA. and can walk in most offices as long as you have the letter.

    we did walk in but im not sure how much it helped.. looking at timelines.. you usually still rec the EAD 1-2 weeks after the original appt date, i did see a few ppl get it sooner, not sure if it was becuz of the walk in or just blessed LOL ...

    i think its worth a shot tho..

    you should check out the AOS forum.. its really helpful!

    also, that online status was VERY misleading.. i have been approved and i think mine still says intial review LOL

    i did much better looking at the status of other filers to tell when i would or wouldn't get something.. almost predicted stuff to the DAY!

    ohhh i didn't even realize damien came when she was 12, thats how old my oldest is, we must talk more often lol

    LOL..no problem cuz my life is an open book..don't mind sharing or giving advice.

    girl.. its scary how alike our journeys are in some ways.. maybe ur daughter can talk to my daughter is more like it LOL

    the oldest just really stays to herself tho.. she is in major teenage mode, both my kids stay in their room all day if you let them, roger wishes they were more interactive.. :wacko: uhh well how about starting up a convo??
