    Yes I believe For 5 year, you would need to complete required number of days in US without any stay over 6 months outside US. Last time I checked you can apply 3 months before 5 years are completed. Decisions depend upon the case also on work load. You can check for timelines here https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

    Thanks for every ones input. My case is very simple and it does makes sense with pending i751 , it takes more time.

    Yes, both LPR seeking naturalization and US citizen should attend. US citizen will likely not be allowed for N-400, but may be asked to join I-751.
     
    It only gets tough or tricky if IO suspects immigration fraud or questions the marriage.

    Mine took 1.5 years...others are lucky but some of us aren't.
