    I am yet to file for my K-1 visa with my woman.The first she came around in November.we got engaged during a family ceremony.could this hinder our application.

    engagement in nigeria isnt document or regarded as marriage,but its almost termed semi marriage.I am yet to file nor fill any form,would it be advisable we state we got engaged here when she came down.will it help or mar the process...
