      I called the national helpline for the SSA. They said that they could see the request I made on 6/4. They said hopefully, I'll receive it next week. They said it takes a little longer to get the clearance/verification from DHS.

      hi sachi! got here last May 5, POE detroit.. received my ssn 1 week after POE.. received 3 welcome letters in the mail.. was worried back then as i haven't received my gc yet.. so we called customer service and found out through the automated system that my gc was ordered for production May 20 which was the notice date on my 3rd welcome letter.. 3 weeks after card order, my 2 year gc arrived in the mail.. the gc has a new design.. it might be the reason for the delay..
